An Australian OnlyFans star has opened up about an awkward moment during a date where the man expected her to pay.
There have been loads of discussions about who is meant to pay on a first date.
Some say it’s the bloke, others believe it should be split, and different people reckon there should at least be a conversation about it.
Annie Knight said she felt like the onus was on her to foot the bill because she’s making a killing on the X-rated platform.
The 26-year-old, who admitted to having 300 sexual partners in one year, launched her OnlyFans page a couple of years ago and frequently talks of her dating escapades via TikTok.
“At the start of the year I thought I was doing pretty well, I had 1,200 fans [on OnlyFans], which is what you would call a success, whereas now I have 12,000 fans,” she told the Herald Sun.
“People question why you would go on the internet and talk about these things, this is why.
“In the past two months I have made more than $400,000. It is $210,000 per month, to be exact.”
However, being on OnlyFans does come with its disadvantages.
The 26-year-old said things got weird when she went out with a bloke recently.
“I went on a date the other night and he made me pay, it was $500. I was talking to this guy on Hinge and went out with him in Melbourne,” she revealed in a TikTok video.
“We went out to a really great restaurant, had a great dinner.
“We had lots of cocktails, a bottle of wine, it was lots of fun.”
However, after she returned from the bathroom, she noticed the hefty bill sitting on the table and her date was looking the other way.
“The bill sits there for ages. We’re still talking and it is getting a bit awkward now. I don’t expect the guy to pay but I always expect them to at least offer and it is fine to go halves,” she said.
She then revealed when the waiter came over and asked if they were ready to pay, her date said Knight would cover it.
She added: “I assume he’s seen all the stories about how much money I make and just thought I’d cop the bill.
“I don’t care if I pay the bill but like what?”
In the bin with you.
