It’s been five weeks since Diddy was arrested in New York, and since then a media frenzy has ensued.

At the center of the storm is Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who awaits his trial due to take place May 5 next year after he was indicted by a grand jury following his arrest at the Park Hyatt hotel in Manhattan on September 16.

He has been charged with racketeering and sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion – charges of which he has pleaded not guilty.

His attorney Marc Agnifilo remains adamant that the decision to arrest and charge Combs is ‘unjust’, his client is ‘not a criminal’ and ‘looks forward to clearing his name in court‘.

But his seven children have become somewhat collateral damage to their father’s alleged actions.

Now, his adoptive son Quincy Brown – shared with late mom Kim Porter, who died in 2018 – has defended his father and called out ‘false narratives’ in the media.

Taking to Instagram, his son wrote: “The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media.

“We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD.”

Brown has already released a statement alongside his siblings after accusations were made that their late mother, Porter, wrote a memoir detailing sexual abuse at the hands of Combs.

Those claims were made from Al B. Sure!, Brown’s birth father, who suggested a 60-page memoir titled Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice, from the Other Side originally detailed the abuse.

It was released on Amazon in September before Combs’ arrest.

Speaking through his attorney Erica Wolf, Diddy released the following statement: “The Kim Porter ‘memoir’ is fake. It is also offensive – a shameless attempt to profit from tragedy.

“Unlike the fabrications in his sickening ‘memoir’, it is an established fact that Ms Porter died of natural causes. May she rest in peace.”

Brown, alongside siblings Christian, Jessie and D’Lila Combs, Kim Porter’s four children, released a statement about the claims that their mom wrote a memoir and brandished them as ‘simply untrue’.

It read in part: “She did not, and anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves. Additionally, please understand that any so-called ‘friend’ speaking on behalf of our mom or her family is not a friend, nor do they have her best interests at heart.”

It went on to explain that the cause of death of their mom ‘has long been established’, stating that ‘there was no foul play’ before asking for ‘peace’ as they ‘continue to cope with her loss every day’.

Adding: “Our mother should be remembered for the beautiful, strong, kind, and loving woman she was. Her memory should not be tainted by horrific conspiracy theories.”
