Piers Morgan has taken to Twitter to address whether or not Home Alone 2’s Pigeon Lady was really his ‘finest work’
Of all the news you didn’t think you needed to read about today, this it it.
Yes, yes you read that right, British broadcaster Piers Morgan has been forced to take to social media and respond to claims he’s the actor who portrays the homeless lady surrounded by birds – nicknamed ‘Pigeon Lady’ – in the sequel to the festive favorite, Home Alone.
In Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, Kevin McCallister befriends Pigeon Lady while in New York City. Initially, Kevin is scared of her, however, Pigeon Lady ultimately comes to his rescue and helps save him when Harry Lyme and Marv Murchins attack him in Central Park.
And after learning more about how she became ‘Pigeon Lady,’ Kevin even goes on to gift her a turtledove. Sweet. Until you realize just how eerily alike Piers Morgan and Pigeon Lady look.
A Twitter user wrote: “Watching Home Alone lost in New York and forgot Piers Morgan has a role in this film.”
“Everything he’s done since has been s***e,” another added.
A third commented: “FFS it all makes sense now.”
And so much discourse is there online about Morgan being the iconic figure, the broadcaster has been forced to address the matter.

Morgan responded to a tweet, which shared a photograph of the Pigeon Lady on a TV screen, alongside the caption: “Not sure how many acting credits he has but this is @piersmorgan’s finest work.”
Morgan wrote in a post shared December 1: “It’s. Not. Me.”
Sure Piers.
Alas, I don’t know whether it’s a relief or disappointing that Morgan really isn’t Pigeon Lady – the character actually played by Irish actor Brenda Fricker.
One Twitter user noted: “This joke bores me she was an incredible actor from casualty fame this was a huge gig for her and she nailed it.”
Indeed, Fricker is considered one of the best Irish actors of all time according to The Irish Times.
Alas, other fans of the movie can’t help but keep seeing Morgan as the Pigeon Lady and certainly haven’t given up on trolling Morgan over it just yet.

One Twitter user said: “It’s literally you.”
“Just say ‘Thank you for supporting my work’, and move on,” another added.
A third commented: “Just take the credit and say it’s you. easier.”
“It’s that time of year again, Piers. Hope your get a big residual check this year,” a fourth wrote.
And a fifth said: “The resemblance is uncanny.”
