Rapper Travis Scott has been arrested for ‘disorderly intoxication and trespassing’ in Florida.

The incident surrounding the musician is understood to have happened in Miami-Dade County.

Scott, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster, was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center at around 4.35am on Thursday (20 June), court records show.

The rapper was arrested by police at the Miami Beach Marina at 12:44am, with the 33-year-old submitting a $650 bond.

This includes a $500 for the trespass charge, and $150 for disorderly intoxication.

It remains unclear at this stage if Scott has been released.

The rapper’s mugshot has since been shared by Miami Dade Corrections facility.

Scott hasn’t shied away from the limelight since his arrest, even appearing to directly address it in a tweet posted on X.

‘Lol’ a post on his official X account simply read on Thursday.

The previous week saw Scott involved in a skirmish with Kylie Jenner’s previous ex Tyga in Cannes.

Scott and the Kylie Cosmetics founder have had an on-off relationship since 2017, though they are not believed to be together.

This comes just a year after Scott escaped criminal charges over a deadly crowd rush which resulted in ten people losing their lives.

Back in 2021, ten fans died and thousands of others were injured during a stampede at Travis’ Astroworld concert, in which over 50,000 supporters attended.

According to reports at the time, the festival goers who tragically passed away ranged in age from nine to 27.

The official cause of death for many was asphyxiation, meaning they were unable to breathe due to be being crushed in the crowd.

In the wake of the incident, the Houston native released a statement saying the tragedy left him ‘distraught’.

The truly tragic events sent shockwaves around the world, with people pointing their fingers at the American rapper.

However, Scott was eventually cleared last June after a Texas grand jury declined to indict Travis on any criminal charges relating to the concert.

“He never encouraged people to do anything that resulted in other people being hurt,” Lawyer Kent Schaffer said.

Schaffer said the decision comes as ‘a great relief’ to his client.

He added: “Travis is not responsible. Bringing criminal charges against him will not ease their [the victims’ families] pain.”
