Viewers stunned by chilling optical illusion that ‘unveils your biggest fear in life’

Optical illusions really do thrive on the internet.

Now, viewers have been left stunned by a chilling optical illusion that one TikToker claims ‘unveils your biggest fear in life’.

In an optical illusion uploaded from @psychologylove100 on the popular video platform, viewers are asked to look at an image and basically decide what it is.

Sounds simple enough, right?

Well, the TikToker – whose credentials for dispensing psychological wisdom are unknown – claims that depending on what you see speaks volumes about what ‘affects you the most’ in your life.

“If you first saw a rodent, then you’re most afraid of humiliation and ridicule,” the viral TikTok video claims.

“Pity and mockery are the worst things for you. It often robs you of your confidence and value as a human being.

“You always strive to be independent, and self-reliant. The idea of having to ask someone for help and being dependent on them is extremely difficult for you.

“You’re afraid of losing control of your life. You don’t want anyone else to have any influence over you.

“You’re very committed to your personal development and put a lot of energy into it.

“At work, you’re the one who takes responsibility. Just because you don’t take it personally doesn’t mean you’ll do anything. You invest your time, and yourself into making every task a reality.”

That’s quite a lot to read into the act of seeing a rat.

But the TikToker isn’t done yet.

The big twist comes as the TikToker says that if you see your face, then your greatest fear in life is ‘loneliness’.

The creepy voiceover said: “You need to be surrounded by those you love.

“Without them, you feel the ground crumble beneath your feet. You treat others as a kind of insurance. You usually manage just fine without others, but you need to know that you have someone to rely on when you need them. When you’re alone, you’re paralysed by fear.”

Some were impressed, with one writing: “Wow. This one was actually really accurate for me.”

However, not everyone in the comments section agreed this image was the best way of perceiving their darkest inner fears.

One said: “Howw howw can this picture know people personal life.”

Another said: “I saw the face but love being alone lol.”

While a third broke the system and claimed: “I saw a person with a giant rat on his head.”

Does that mean they’re afraid of humiliation and being alone?
