Jamie Lee Curtis couldn\u2019t help but gush over the news that her onscreen daughter Lindsay Lohan has\u00a0welcomed her first child<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Page Six revealed that Lohan, 37,\u00a0gave birth<\/a>\u00a0to her and her husband\u00a0Bader Shammas<\/a>\u2018 first child, a son named Luai.<\/p>\n

And while the news was welcomed with excitement across social media, one actress in particular couldn\u2019t hide her joy from the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cMAGIC MONDAY! My movie daughter just made me a movie grandmother,\u201d the Oscar winner\u00a0wrote on Instagram<\/a>\u00a0Monday. \u201cBlessings to Lindsay and Bader for the birth of Luai! @lindsaylohan.\u201d<\/p>\n

Curtis played Lohan\u2019s mother in the 2003 film \u201cFreaky Friday.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cEverything Everywhere All At Once\u201d star, 64, previously shared her excitement over Lohan\u2019s pregnancy news.<\/p>\n

Sharing a series of snaps from Lohan\u2019s baby shower in April, Curtis\u00a0wrote on Instagram<\/a>, \u201cMy friend and film daughter\u00a0@lindsaylohan\u00a0is growing up! So thrilled for her. What a mama she will be.\u201d<\/p>\n

Curtis\u2019 sweet post came just hours after a rep for Lohan confirmed to Page Six that she and Shammas welcomed a \u201cbeautiful, healthy\u201d boy.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe family is over the moon in love,\u201d her rep told us in a statement.<\/p>\n

The baby was born in Dubai, where the couple resides, although his exact birth date was not immediately made known.<\/p>\n

Luai is an Arabic name that means \u201cshield\u201d or \u201cprotector.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cParent Trap\u201d star\u00a0announced her pregnancy<\/a>\u00a0in March by sharing a snap of a \u201ccoming soon\u201d onesie on social media.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are blessed and excited,\u201d she wrote via Instagram at the time.<\/p>\n

The post came four months after she revealed her desire to have children with her hubby.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to have kids,\u201d she\u00a0told Interview magazine<\/a>\u00a0in November 2022, noting that she had \u201ctalked\u201d to her partner about whether to continue living in Dubai as parents.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s so safe there, and the schools are great. It\u2019s so detached from everything that I\u2019m used to. \u2026 It\u2019s nice to have a separate world that\u2019s my own.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple\u00a0took their romance public<\/a>\u00a0in February 2020, before Shammas\u00a0popped the all-important question<\/a>\u00a0in November that year.<\/p>\n

Lohan later\u00a0debuted her huge diamond sparkler<\/a>\u00a0in a sweet Instagram post, writing, \u201cMy love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple\u00a0secretly married<\/a>\u00a0in April 2022, with Lohan waiting until that July to confirm they had tied the knot.<\/p>\n
