Boxing fans are worried about a particular detail of the upcoming fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.<\/p>\n

No, it\u2019s not the fact that a 27-year-old is going to be fighting someone who will be 31 years his senior by the time they step into\u00a0the ring<\/a>, and\u00a0who doctors have issued health warnings to<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Nor is it (this time at least) the announcement that\u00a0this fight was going to have two minute rounds<\/a>, with Tyson calling it \u2018an exhibition\u2019 but promising that viewers were in for a proper fight.<\/p>\n

In fact, despite what Tyson previously said, the fight has now been sanctioned as a\u00a0professional bout<\/a>, meaning it\u2019ll go on the boxer\u2019s professional records.<\/p>\n

Jake Paul<\/a>\u00a0was an eight-year-old the last time\u00a0Tyson<\/a> fought a professional bout, the then-38-year-old picking up his sixth career loss to Kevin McBride in 2005.<\/p>\n

This time, the thing people are worried about is the\u00a0report<\/a>\u00a0from ESPN which says there will be no headgear worn by the boxers.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s going to be up to eight rounds of two minutes each, but boxing fans are worried that the lack of headgear and the allowance for knockouts means someone is going to get their block knocked off.<\/p>\n

In a fight between a 27-year-old and a 58-year-old your money would probably go on the younger man, but people reacting to the \u2018no headgear\u2019 rule are wondering if Paul is \u2018literally going to die in one hit\u2019.<\/p>\n

Tyson is the boxer who won his first 19 professional bouts by knockout, and a dozen of those in the first round.<\/p>\n

Of course in those days he hadn\u2019t even turned 20 yet and when he steps into the ring with Paul it\u2019ll be the widest age gap ever seen in a professional boxing match, but plenty still remember what \u2018Iron Mike\u2019 could do in the ring.<\/p>\n

Social media has declared the YouTuber turned boxer \u2018cooked\u2019 and predicted Tyson to \u2018have a damn field day\u2019.<\/p>\n
