Some of the online influencers have millions of people who follow their every move. One of those people is Lucy Welcher, and she is an influencer with some 20 million likes.<\/p>\n

Recently, Lucy posted a now-viral video on TikTok with a simple claim. She said that she was \u2018too pretty\u2019 to work and it ignited a firestorm of comments that is still going on today. Many people on the Internet were accusing her of being entitled and shallow but let\u2019s look into it a little further.

\nIn the video, she said that she doesn\u2019t like the daily grind of work. She said: \u201cI do not want to work for the rest of my life. Does it look like I want to get up at 6 a.m. every f**king day for the next 60 years? No! I\u2019m too pretty for that!\u201d<\/p>\n

After the negative feedback started pouring in, she deleted the original video and posted a new one. In the new video, she gave some clarification to say that she was only joking and expressing some frustration about how social media had slandered her.

\nShe also said that some of the conceptions about her wealth, earning a large salary, and having multiple luxury vehicles were false. She said that in reality, her house is \u2018literally falling apart\u2019<\/p>\n

Another video was posted a few days later and it was entitled: \u201cRemake of the most hated video I\u2019ve ever made.\u201d She reenacted what she had done in the controversial video but this time, the reactions were different.<\/p>\n

Since most people realized that she was only joking about being too pretty to work, they were more supportive of her and her second video.
