The \u2018That 70s\u2019 Show\u2019 actors have revealed why they won\u2019t be setting up trust funds anytime soon for their children<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis\u2019 decision to not leave their children with trust funds has continued to spark debate among social media users.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As of 2024,\u00a0Kutcher<\/a>\u00a0has a net worth of a cool $200 million and Kunis $75 million meaning they have a combined wealth of around $275 million,\u00a0as per\u00a0<\/a>Celebrity Net Worth. However, whenever the day comes where they both no longer reside on Earth, the couple\u2019s\u00a0children<\/a>\u00a0won\u2019t be receiving any sort of trust fund. Unlucky.<\/p>\n

In an interview with Dax Shepard on his podcast\u00a0Armchair Expert\u00a0<\/em>in 2018, Kutcher\u00a0explained\u00a0<\/a>the couple\u2019s children Isabelle and Dimitri won\u2019t be having \u2018a trust set up for them\u2019.<\/p>\n

Instead,\u00a0the actors\u00a0<\/a>are planning on donating their money to charity and \u2018to various\u2019 things.<\/p>\n

Although, Kutcher added: \u201cIf my kids want to start a business, and they have a good business plan, I\u2019ll invest in it. But they\u2019re not getting trusts.\u201d<\/p>\n

While his remarks were made several years ago, Kutcher\u2019s comments regularly resurface on\u00a0social media<\/a>, particularly when the discussion of who is and who isn\u2019t\u00a0a nepo baby<\/a>\u00a0rears its head.<\/p>\n

And Kutcher and Kunis\u2019 decision surrounding their finances continues to leave people divided.<\/p>\n

One\u00a0X user<\/a>\u00a0said: \u201cThere was a time when families sought to build dynasties, one generation building on the accomplishments of the last.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow everyone is an atomic unit, valuable only in so far as it serves the consumerist machine. And your children? Do not spoil them lest they become worse workers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another shared: \u201cInstead, they will leave their fortune to spoiled and entitled CEOs of nonprofits.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a 2017 interview with Elle UK, Kunis also\u00a0opened up<\/a>\u00a0about raising her children and how she doesn\u2019t want them to become spoiled despite their affluent upbringing.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Bad Moms\u00a0<\/em>actor said her main priority is to ensure they don\u2019t evolve into \u2018a**holes\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s enough a**holes in this world! We don\u2019t need to contribute. But, you know, there\u2019s some nice people,\u201d she told the outlet.<\/p>\n

As a result, Kutcher and Kunis didn\u2019t even gift their children presents at Christmas time.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re instituting [no presents] this year because when the kids are [younger than] one, it doesn\u2019t really matter. Last year when we celebrated Christmas, Wyatt was two, and it was too much. We didn\u2019t give her anything \u2014 it was the grandparents,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

She even told her parents they had to limit presents to one gift.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018We\u2019re begging you \u2014 if you have to give her something, pick one gift. Otherwise, we\u2019d like to take a charitable donation to the Children\u2019s Hospital or a pet [or] whatever you want,’\u201d Kunis said.<\/p>\n
