It\u2019s no secret to anyone that working in customer service is a difficult job, but one server was left wondering whether the customer\u00a0really\u00a0<\/em>is always right following a tricky encounter.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There\u2019s no worse feeling as a restaurant server than to be getting ready for closing up, just for a big group of people to walk in and demand a table.<\/p>\n

The kitchen<\/a>\u00a0is probably closed, you\u2019re starting to put everything away, but some people just can\u2019t take no for an answer.<\/p>\n

Well that\u2019s exactly what happened to Ozryn Nino just 45 minutes before the restaurant he worked at was due to close.<\/p>\n

And there wasn\u2019t just a couple of them\u2026<\/p>\n

Ozryn (@ozrynog) took to\u00a0TikTok<\/a>\u00a0back in 2022 to reveal that a group of 16 people arrived at the restaurant just 45 minutes before closing time.<\/p>\n

He said in a video: \u201cThis is why I\u2019m quitting because you motherf***ers make my job insufferable.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nino\u2019s words did not go unnoticed when they were posted on the video-sharing platform.<\/p>\n

However, while the video caught the eyes of a lot of people, viewers were divided about what the server had to say.<\/p>\n

One critical viewer slammed: \u201cGen Z, it\u2019s not your customers\u2019 fault. Your job has\u00a0business<\/a>\u00a0hours and they\u2019re within those hours.<\/p>\n

\u201cY\u2019all literally complain about everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another added: \u201cSo you\u2019re quitting because you\u2019re lazy, and don\u2019t want to work. Got it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHow the hell did you think a server\u2019s job was going to go?\u201d questioned a third.<\/p>\n

While a fourth wrote: \u201c45 mins that\u2019s enough time to almost get them back out the door before closing.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, some viewers were sympathetic to Nino\u2019s situation.<\/p>\n

One wrote: \u201cThere should be a rule\/policy. If a restaurant closes at 9pm, do not seat people after 8pm.\u201d<\/p>\n

A second sympathized, adding: \u201cYeah I know the feeling, we had people coming in knowing we close in 5 min and then order the moon.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another viewer suggested: \u201cBusinesses should have a closing menu \u2013 only offer simple or to-go foods the last half hour to allow FOH & BOH to close on time.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the comments section, Nino went on to explain more about the situation, revealing that he worked in a restaurant that was understaffed at the time, which certainly makes his life harder.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cNot only do I serve but I wash dishes so when I\u2019m trying to do that and people wanna b rude ima b a b**ch [about] it.\u201d<\/p>\n

He concluded that \u2018the\u00a0money<\/a>\u00a0is not worth it at this point\u2019.<\/p>\n
