The world\u2019s most-swiped man on Tinder has revealed where men are going wrong with their pictures.<\/p>\n

We all know that photos are hugely important on\u00a0dating<\/a>\u00a0apps. There\u2019s no point in uploading several group shots, sunglasses on every picture or photos that are a decade old.<\/p>\n

And don\u2019t even get us started on a photo of you\u00a0holding a fish<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, a man who is clearly an expert on the matter (he\u2019s the most\u00a0swiped<\/a>\u00a0guy on Tinder) has issued some pointers that everyone can take note of.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the\u00a0Take A Seat<\/a>\u00a0podcast, Stefan Pierre revealed a great tip for meeting someone with similar interests.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you\u2019re in to\u00a0horse riding<\/a>\u00a0or go karting, put a picture up of you go karting and you\u2019ll likely match someone with the same interest as you,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are putting out there what people want you to see.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another man who is one of the most swiped on Tinder also shed some light on how he boosts his matches.<\/p>\n

Speaking on\u00a0Reddit<\/a>, he explained: \u201cI think it\u2019s a mixture of everything, but having photos that portray a story and a bio that\u2019s informative with a clear \u2018call to action\u2019 (reason why someone should match and speak to me).\u201d<\/p>\n

He also suggests making sure your profile is actually complete, with links to your social media channels, and to switch on \u2018recently active\u2019 so that other Tinder users will see that you\u2019ve been online and are more likely to swipe right knowing that you\u2019ll be around to have a conversation.<\/p>\n

So what other kind of photos can you use?<\/p>\n

According to a recent study, men who have dogs in their pictures for online dating apps are perceived to be more attractive.<\/p>\n

Research in Spain collated data from 300 female university students and found that women feel more at ease with men with dogs in their pictures,\u00a0according to the Mirror.<\/a><\/p>\n

However, the size of the animal also made a difference when swiping right or left.<\/p>\n

Now, most of us love dogs, but there\u2019s more to it than that.<\/p>\n

After showing countless pictures, scientists found that men with smaller dogs were perceived to be \u2018less threatening and intimidating\u2019.<\/p>\n

One of the researchers said: \u201cThe current study has shown that the small-sized dog prompts more positive emotional reactivity and higher levels of safety than the medium-sized dog in most emotional contexts, pointing out that emotional and safety benefits from dog presence might also be related to size.\u201d<\/p>\n

They added: \u201cWe selected two unpopular, medium-and small-sized adult dogs (Portuguese podengo-like mixed-breed dog and wire-haired dachshund, respectively) to examine whether the positive dog effect was due to dog presence itself or dog specificity.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
