Mike Tyson’s team have confirmed the boxing star suffered a medical emergency while on a flight from Miami<\/h2>\n

Mike Tyson caused concern after suddenly taking ill during a flight from Miami.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Iron\u00a0Mike Tyson<\/a> has the reputation of being tough as nails but caused a stir on an airplane that was flying from Miami to LA on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The 57-year-old former boxing heavyweight champion reportedly became nauseous and dizzy during the flight forcing staff members to take action.<\/p>\n

Airline staff asked passengers if there was a doctor on board who could provide assistance as they tried to deal with the situation.<\/p>\n

When the flight touched down in Los Angeles, paramedics boarded the plane to administer treatment to Tyson.<\/p>\n

His representatives have insisted that the boxer is now feeling fine as this\u00a0health<\/a>\u00a0scare comes only two months before his boxing bout with\u00a0YouTuber<\/a>\u00a0turned boxer\u00a0Jake Paul<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThankfully Mr. Tyson is doing great,\u201d Tyson\u2019s representatives\u00a0told<\/a>\u00a0the New York Post.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing. He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ulcer flare up symptoms include feeling nauseous, vomiting, bloating, belching and gas pain as well as chest pain and fatigue.<\/p>\n

A witness who was reportedly at the scene, according\u00a0to<\/a>\u00a0a Mail Online report, explained how staff reacted to the emergency.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was in first class, but we were an exit row.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey asked us to stay on the plane and landed so paramedics could enter. [The stewardess] said something like, ‘He’s a really important passenger so we wanna make sure he’s OK.’ I knew it was him, but I just mouthed the words ‘Mike Tyson’ and she nodded her head yes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another source said a message asking whether there was a doctor aboard came to the passengers via everyone’s airplane seat screens.<\/p>\n

\u201cMike had some kind of medical emergency on the plane and paramedics boarded,\u201d the source told the New York Post.<\/p>\n

\u201cBefore the paramedics arrived the flight issued an announcement asking for a doctor \u2014 the message even came on everyone\u2019s screens.\u201c<\/p>\n

Mike Tyson has not yet commented this emergency on his social media feeds.<\/p>\n
