Netflix has confirmed that the boxing match that was set for July 20 between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will not go ahead.<\/p>\n

The streaming service has said the fight will be postponed due to a medical issue concerning Tyson.<\/p>\n

In a statement, they said: \u201cUnfortunately,\u00a0Jake Paul<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Mike Tyson<\/a>\u00a0will not face-off on July 20 as planned.<\/p>\n

“Tyson\u2019s recent ulcer flare-up has limited his ability to train fully for the next few weeks.<\/p>\n

“The fight will be rescheduled for a date later this year after Mike\u2019s able to resume training with no limitations, and both fighters can have equal time to prepare for this once-in-a-lifetime matchup!\u201d<\/p>\n

Following the heartbreaking news for viewers, Paul has teased a replacement opponent, and it might just be the very fight that every\u00a0YouTube<\/a>-boxing fan has been waiting for.<\/p>\n

Paul revealed that he wanted to give the fans the fight they have all been waiting for, posting to X (formerly Twitter) saying: \u201cKSI’s coach saying he is over 200lbs right now?<\/p>\n

\u201cSo no weight excuses.<\/p>\n

“Let’s run it for July 20th and then Paul Tyson in October\/November.”<\/p>\n

But KSI responded to the ex-Disney<\/a>\u00a0Channel star, stating that he couldn’t fight in July as he already has a match lined up for August.<\/p>\n

After a back and forth between the pair, Paul made an offer that there was no running from: \u201c2 fights in February…Jake Paul vs KSI…Logan Paul<\/a>\u00a0vs Deji.<\/p>\n

\u201cYall with it?”<\/p>\n

KSI doesn’t appear to have responded to the most recent tweet, but UNILAD has reached out to his rep for comment.<\/p>\n

Though he hasn’t confirmed his bout with Paul, KSI has called for the Paul vs Tyson fight to be totally scrapped.<\/p>\n

KSI raised concerns over how medically safe the fight would be, something which has already been raised by fans.<\/p>\n

Quoting a tweet citing rumors about Tyson’s ill health, he said: \u201cIf this is true, cancel the fight already.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tyson put out a statement with ESPN confirming his ulcer flare-up, which took place 30 minutes before landing in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cI want to thank my fans around the world for their support and understanding during this time.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately, due to my ulcer flareup, I have been advised by my doctor to lighten my training for a few weeks to rest and recover.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy body is in better overall shape than it has been since the 1990s and I will be back to my full training schedule soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cJake Paul, this may have bought you some time, but in the end you will still be knocked out and out of boxing for good.<\/p>\n
