There are a lot of stories out there about kids who have grown up to look just like their celebrity parents.<\/strong><\/p>\n

From Michael J Fox\u2019s twin daughters to\u00a0Julia Roberts\u2019s\u00a0lookalike teen daughter and even\u00a0Elvis Presley\u2018s<\/a>\u00a0grandson; there is a lot of celebrity offspring making us do a double-take when we look at them.<\/strong><\/p>\n

But, in the case of Christopher Reeve\u2019s 29-year-old son Will he\u2019s not only the spitting image of his father but is working hard to continue his father\u2019s inspirational legacy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Tragically, Christopher Reeve\u2019s youngest son was forced to deal with the death of his parents when he was just 13.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What does a hero look like?<\/p>\n

For millions of people growing up in the late 70s and early 80s, a hero looked like Christopher Reeve.<\/p>\n

His portrayal of DC comic book hero Superman, which hit our screens in 1978, earned him a BAFTA award for Most Promising Male Newcomer.<\/p>\n

The charismatic and handsome actor went on to star in three more superhero movies:\u00a0Superman II<\/em>,\u00a0Superman III<\/em>, and\u00a0Superman IV: The Quest for Peace<\/em>.<\/p>\n

His name is synonymous with a famous superhero that we\u2019ll never forget.<\/p>\n

But Christopher Reeve, born in New York in 1952, wasn\u2019t just an actor but a film director, producer, screenwriter, equestrian, and activist.<\/p>\n

Christopher Reeve accident<\/h2>\n

On May 27, 1995, Christopher Reeve\u2019s life would change forever.<\/p>\n

During an equestrian competition in\u00a0Culpeper, Virginia, the beloved actor fell off his horse Buck and injured his spinal cord.<\/p>\n

Millions of fans and his family were left in shock after the Hollywood actor became paralyzed from the neck down and confined to a wheelchair.<\/p>\n

According to the actor\u2019s\u00a0foundation<\/a>, Christopher\u2019s mother begged the doctors to withdraw his mechanical ventilation and let him die.<\/p>\n

New York Times would later reveal that if the actor would have fallen one centimeter further to the left, he would have been killed instantly. On the other hand, if Christopher had landed slightly to the right, he would probably just suffered a concussion.<\/p>\n
