A man sailing across the Pacific Ocean in a sailboat has awoken a new fear in people who can’t believe his trip<\/h2>\n

A brave former teacher traded in the classroom for Pacific Ocean as he attempts to cross the vast body of water in a sailboat.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Luke, a former school\u00a0music<\/a>\u00a0teacher decided to ditch his normal life for a once in a lifetime trip.<\/p>\n

Detailing his journey on his\u00a0TikTok<\/a>\u00a0page, ‘sailing_songbird’, he showed the world just how beautiful and terrifying the experience can be.<\/p>\n

Many\u00a0social media<\/a>\u00a0users admitted, while it is a fascinating journey, it is certainly driving up their anxiety and we don\u2019t blame them.<\/p>\n

In one of his most\u00a0viral<\/a> videos, that has been viewed more than 33 million times, Luke even showed where he and his boat are in the ocean.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is month one, day 31 of sailing across the Pacific Ocean alone,\u201d he said in the video.<\/p>\n

He continued: \u201cI\u2019m in the doldroms, I\u2019m stuck here in the doldrums and there is no wind.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor reference, I am right about as far away from land you can be on the planet.\u201d<\/p>\n

In what would should be a pretty terrifying realisation, Luke admitted he was appreciative of the experience.<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cIt is incredibly disorientating to be out on a paddleboard with absolutely nothing on the horizon except like a super cool sunset.<\/p>\n
