Women quickly shared their own experiences to explain why the sign wasn’t sexist<\/h2>\n

Women are sharing their disastrous experiences of going on water slides after a world champion diver decided to ignore a warning on a steep ride.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’ll be honest, if I ever see something that’s ‘not for girls’, it makes me want it more.<\/p>\n

There used to be a\u00a0chocolate<\/a> bar that had those exact words on the packaging, and you better believe my defiant younger self picked one up almost every day after school.<\/p>\n

But when it comes to water slides, a number of females have warned that ‘no women’ signs really should not be ignored.<\/p>\n

The warnings came after\u00a0Australian<\/a>\u00a0high diver Rhiannan Iffland shared a video of herself on\u00a0TikTok<\/a>\u00a0taking on a slide at Austria\u2019s Area 47 adventure park, which featured a sign saying women shouldn’t go down it.<\/p>\n

Iffland ignored the warning and threw herself down the chute anyway, writing afterwards: “Went for it anyway. Just once but I did it!”<\/p>\n

The fact that Iffland survived the slide might lead you to believe the ‘no women’ warning is some kind of sexist take – but other women have stressed that’s not the case.<\/p>\n

Floods of females quickly took to the comments section to explain why women going on the slides might not be the best idea, and it’s largely down to what’s been dubbed the ‘waterslide enema’.<\/p>\n

An enema is when liquid is inserted into the butt to help relieve\u00a0constipation<\/a>\u00a0– so I don’t think I need to explain what these women were talking about when using the phrase.<\/p>\n

One person wrote: “Unfortunately I got a water slide enema. Peed out half the swimming pool in the toilet from my butt. I literally couldn\u2019t stand upright after it happened. Weirdest thing I\u2019ve ever experienced.”<\/p>\n

Obviously men going on the slide could also experience this, but women pointed out that females simply have ‘too many holes’ to be dealing with the potential influx of water.<\/p>\n

One woman explained: “I have gone to one of those. […] Not an enema but the other one. Deep cleaning that baby box. Never again.”<\/p>\n

Another added: “Goes into places it really shouldn\u2019t then gushes out when you stand up not fun.”<\/p>\n

“| went on a slide like this, water straight up both holes,” wrote a third.<\/p>\n

Iffland didn’t share any details of what happened to her in the aftermath of going on the slide, but there must have been a reason why she chose to do it ‘just once’.<\/p>\n
