is giving a weak answer which makes the candidate come across as &#8216;inauthentic.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">&#8216;To begin with, when an interviewer asks what you can improve on, don\u2019t use phrases that make it sound like you think you have nothing to learn,&#8217; Church explained.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">&#8216;These can be phrases like &#8220;I work too hard&#8221; or &#8220;I\u2019m a perfectionist&#8221;&#8216;. They\u2019re framed as character flaws when, really, they\u2019re compliments.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Responses like these can portray a dishonest picture of you to the interviewer even if it wasn&#8217;t intended.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">&#8216;I\u2019m not hiring you to be perfect,&#8217; Church assured. &#8216;I\u2019m hiring you to grow with us.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Instead, he advised sharing a real example of a mistake you made and what you learned from it.
