A bartender shut down a customer who asked for no ice in their drink<\/h2>\n

A bartender divided opinions online after suggesting that customers that order no ice in their drinks simply want more booze in it.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you’ve ever worked behind a bar on a busy Friday night, you’ll know how gruelling it is and eventually you’re not in the mood to\u00a0take any s**t from customers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And this\u00a0bartender<\/a>\u00a0seemed to have reached that point when a customer asked for a tequila with cranberry juice and no ice, seemingly trying to get a stronger\u00a0drink<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In a video shared to\u00a0TikTok<\/a>\u00a0the bartender, who posted under the name Jemima June, recorded herself working and showed the interaction.<\/p>\n

After they asked for no ice, Jemima pauses for a moment to clarify that they aren’t going to get a bigger drink just because there’s no ice in it.<\/p>\n

“Just because you say ‘no ice’ that doesn’t mean you’re going to get more alcohol,” she explained.<\/p>\n

Jemima then went on to say that there’s only one guaranteed way that a customer can be sure that they’re getting more than a single measure in their drink.<\/p>\n

“Double,” she said. “That means you’re going to get more alcohol.”<\/p>\n

While Jemima might have thought she was doing the right thing as she worked, the whole thing divided TikTok users.<\/p>\n
