Well, two identical-looking athletes with the same name decided to take a\u00a0DNA<\/a> test to see whether they are secretly long-lost siblings.<\/p>\n

Brady Feigl is a 6’4 baseball player with red hair, a red beard and thick glasses, and remarkably there is another Brady Feigl who is also a 6’4 baseball player with red hair, a red beard and thick glasses.<\/p>\n

So you can see why the pair were questioning things.<\/p>\n

One of them is a pitcher for the Pericos de Puebla in\u00a0Mexico<\/a>, while the other was a pitcher for the Oakland Athletics.<\/p>\n

I mean they even play in the same position.<\/p>\n

Of course, people have told the two pitchers over the years about their similarities, so much so the two Bradys wanted answers.<\/p>\n

And to many people’s surprise, a DNA test revealed the pair aren’t actually related after all.<\/p>\n

While the DNA test may have confirmed they are not long-lost siblings, it did provide one similarity.<\/p>\n

The athletes’ level of Germanic ancestry was identical as they both registered as 53 percent Germanic in origin.<\/p>\n

That was the only similarity however, as the pair were different on every other measure, subsequently confirming they are not long-lost siblings after all.<\/p>\n

A new family may not be on the cards for the two Bradys, but they are glad to have met each other and said they were ‘still brothers in a way’.<\/p>\n

Perhaps one of the most amazing stories involving long-lost twins involves\u00a0Jim Lewis and Jim Springer.<\/a><\/p>\n

The pair, who have also become known as the ‘Jim twins’ in recent years, have some astonishing similarities.<\/p>\n

The name is an obvious first similarity, with their respective adopted parents seemingly liking the name Jim.<\/p>\n

Both Jims had married twice – with both of them going on to marry a woman called Linda.<\/p>\n

Things didn’t work out for either with Linda so the two Jims each met a woman called Betty.<\/p>\n

The two men also discovered they had the same taste in beer and preferred to smoke the same brand of cigarettes.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, there were some differences as one twin ended up getting married a third time to a woman named Sandy, something not emulated by the other Jim.<\/p>\n
