Another celebrity could be linked to the investigation into the death of Matthew Perry.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Perry<\/a>\u00a0was found dead in his hot tub on October 28 2023, with the cause of death given as the ‘acute effects of\u00a0ketamine<\/a>‘.<\/p>\n

His death sparked an outpouring of grief and tributes including from his\u00a0Friends<\/em><\/a>\u00a0<\/em>co-stars.<\/p>\n

In the aftermath of Perry’s death, authorities\u00a0launched a criminal investigation.<\/a><\/p>\n

In Touch subsequently reported that officers had seized a laptop and an\u00a0iPhone<\/a>\u00a0from the room at a sober living space occupied by a famous woman and ‘brought her in for questioning’ in connection with Perry’s death.<\/p>\n

A lawyer for Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife,\u00a0later admitted his client had been questioned<\/a>\u00a0in relation to the Matthew Perry case.<\/p>\n

Now, In Touch has reported that another\u00a0celebrity<\/a>\u00a0could become involved in the ongoing criminal investigation surrounding Perry’s death.<\/p>\n

Perry wrote about taking ketamine as part of a treatment program for mental health problems, including depression.<\/p>\n

However, he had received the last dose of the ketamine treatment with his doctor around a week and a half earlier.<\/p>\n

According to his autopsy report ‘the ketamine in his system at death could not be from infusion therapy’, because the body metabolises ketamine quickly.<\/p>\n

The implication that Perry had not taken the fatal dose as part of a therapeutic application has led authorities to suspect that he obtained the fatal dose elsewhere.<\/p>\n

This could imply that there is a criminal component in Perry’s passing.<\/p>\n

One potential lead is a relationship that Perry was alleged to have developed with another celebrity while the pair were in rehab at the same time.<\/p>\n

A source has spoken to In Touch alleging that Perry and the unnamed celebrity had tried to help each other to obtain drugs.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the outlet, the source said: \u201cIf the feds had either one of their phones \u2014 especially [the second celeb\u2019s], because she doesn\u2019t erase her text messages \u2014 they would probably find conversations about the drug and \u2018How can I get extra?\u2019 Like, \u2018Oh, come see my doctor if you need more.'”<\/p>\n

They added: \u201cIt will not look good for the celebrity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tributes poured in following Perry’s death, including from his\u00a0Friends\u00a0<\/em>cast mates.<\/p>\n

In a joint statement, they wrote: \u201cWe are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family.
