Singer Bebe Rexha said ‘things must change’<\/h2>\n

Bebe Rexha has claimed she could ‘bring down’ the music industry in an online rant.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0singer<\/a>\u00a0– best known for hits such as ‘In the Name of Love’ and ‘I’m Good (Blue)’ – launched her tirade on\u00a0social media<\/a>\u00a0on Tuesday (July 2).<\/p>\n

Taking to X, the 34-year-old wrote: “I could bring down a BIG chunk of this industry. I AM frustrated. I have been UNDERMINED. I\u2019ve been so quiet for the longest time. I haven\u2019t seen the signs even though people constantly are bringing them up and they have been SO OBVIOUS.<\/p>\n

“And when I have spoken up I\u2019ve been silence and PUNISHED by this industry Things must change or I\u2019m telling ALL of my truths. The good the bad and the ugly.”<\/p>\n

Bebe then appeared to add more information as she told fans that her rant didn’t come ‘from a place of anger’ but was instead due to ‘sadness’ over her treatment in the industry since she started singing in 2014.<\/p>\n

She added: “I\u2019m sitting in my hotel room in\u00a0London<\/a>\u00a0crying my eyes out. I\u2019ve felt hopeless for the longest time. I\u2019ve been walking a lot through this city and meeting fans and they have really ignited something inside of me.”<\/p>\n

The singer later shared a follow-up and said: “Thank you to everyone checking up on me. I’m working through these issues and fighting for what I deserve.<\/p>\n

“Many news outlets have asked for an interview. If you want to write about me please support my new music. Thank you again. Love you.”<\/p>\n

Her posts have been flooded with comments and support from fans, as one replied: “We stand with you bebe.”<\/p>\n

Another shared: “And we will be here to support you! U r seen and appreciated.”<\/p>\n

A third added: “We are here to support you! Get this out of your system so it won’t hurt you anymore.”<\/p>\n

However, some fans claimed she needed to ‘drop names’ and out who she was referring to, and others even suggested her rant could be part of a ploy to promote her new single, ‘I’m The Drama’.<\/p>\n

One sceptical fan posted: “Doing this during promoting a new single ‘I\u2019m The Drama’ is perfect timing – marketing or not! xx.”<\/p>\n
