After everything Drake has been through of late, it seems like the rap star is allergic to getting a W right now<\/h2>\n

Drake is definitely the BBL butt of a lot of jokes right now, and things are only getting worse after he shared his latest gambling bet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you follow\u00a0Drake<\/a>\u2019s social media pages at all, you would know he regularly makes bets on\u00a0sporting<\/a>\u00a0events.<\/p>\n

Whether it be\u00a0UFC<\/a>,\u00a0boxing<\/a>,\u00a0soccer<\/a>,\u00a0basketball<\/a>\u00a0– whatever, chances are the music superstar will put some\u00a0money<\/a>\u00a0on it.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, this hasn\u2019t always been a good thing due to the ‘Drake Curse<\/a>‘.<\/p>\n

The curse would essentially go down like this; if Drake says someone is going to win… they are going to lose. Pretty straight forward and funnily enough there is a long history of it panning out like this.<\/p>\n

Amazingly, the curse seemed to be lifted in December 2022 when Drake backed\u00a0Argentina<\/a>\u00a0to win the football world cup and they did.<\/p>\n

But it seems the curse might be back with a vengeance after his latest soccer bet to have Canada beat Argentina in the Copa America tournament.<\/p>\n

Drake is from Canada (something he never lets you forget in his\u00a0music<\/a>), so it makes sense him backing his home country.<\/p>\n

But on\u00a0social media<\/a>\u00a0people really couldn\u2019t believe he put $300,000 on Canada to beat Argentina 2-1. Although the payout would have been a tasty $2.8 million, as the odds were 9.6, few had belief Canada would have taken down Messi\u2019s Argentina and the final score ended up being 2-0 to Argentina.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy in the world would he bet for CANADA against ARGENTINA, babe this is the furthest you\u2019ve come to that cup,\u201d one user wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis has to be one of the most dumb bet I\u2019ve ever seen. He should\u2019ve just gave me the money smh,\u201d another added.<\/p>\n

\u201cRule 1: never bet against Messi. Rule 2: don’t forget rule 1,\u201d joked another.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow can someone bet against Argentina when it comes to soccer!?,\u201d a fourth commented.<\/p>\n

As well as the shock from some\u00a0Twitter<\/a>\u00a0users, others mocked Drake for his recent feud with fellow hip hop legend\u00a0Kendrick Lamar<\/a>\u00a0and joked 2024 isn\u2019t his year, arguing that he continues to take Ls.<\/p>\n

And if this wasn\u2019t enough, Argentina\u2019s official account looked to pour salt on the wound and referenced Kendrick\u2019s most popular diss track to Drake, \u2018Not Like Us\u2019, in their full-time post.<\/p>\n

Better luck next time, Drake.<\/p>\n
