On Saturday (July 13),\u00a0Trump<\/a>, 78,\u00a0was rushed off stage<\/a>\u00a0in Butler, Pennsylvania, after multiple gunshots sounded at an outdoor rally.<\/p>\n The businessman later confirmed on\u00a0social media<\/a>\u00a0he\u2019d been\u00a0\u2018pierced\u2019 by a bullet<\/a> in the \u2018upper part of [his] right ear\u2019 and that \u2018much bleeding took place\u2019.<\/p>\n The\u00a0Secret Service<\/a>\u00a0has since stated that the shooter, identified as\u00a020-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks<\/a>, from Bethel Park in Pennsylvania, had fired \u2018multiple shots\u2019 towards the stage from outside the rally venue.<\/p>\n \u201cUS Secret Service personnel neutralized\u00a0the shooter<\/a>, who is now deceased.<\/p>\n \u201cUS Secret Service quickly responded with protective measures and the former president is safe and being evaluated.\u201d<\/p>\n According to a rally attendee named Vanessa, she believed things could have been a lot different if Trump hadn\u2019t \u2018moved his head\u2019 at the very last minute.<\/p>\n \u201cWe were six rows back, straight in front of him at his podium. We could see him really good,\u201d she\u00a0told<\/a>\u00a0NBC News.<\/p>\n \u201cHe was talking about his chart and he moved his head to the right to explain where they\u2019re at in the chart.<\/p>\n \u201cBut as he moved his head to look at the chart up on the screen that\u2019s when he got grazed in the ear.\u201d<\/p>\n She alleged that if the father-of-five had \u2018not moved his head at the nick of time\u2019 the incident could have \u2018been a lot worse\u2019.<\/p>\n Vanessa said Trump ‘moved his head’ while speaking. (NBC News)<\/cite><\/div>\n Doubling down on Vanessa\u2019s recount of the event, broadcaster Dasha Burns explained that the referred to chart was a graph highlighting immigration rates under the\u00a0Biden administration<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cHe turned to point to that chart and that is when his ear was grazed,\u201d the 32-year-old said.<\/p>\n \u201cBut to Vanessa\u2019s point, if he hadn\u2019t made that turn to show that chart things could\u2019ve been a lot different.\u201d<\/p>\n Following the incident, the FBI confirmed that one male victim had died during the attempted assassination while two others in attendance at the rally were critically injured.<\/p>\n According to<\/a>\u00a0the BBC, Trump was taken to hospital after his ear was injured but has since been discharged to return to his home in New Jersey.<\/p>\n Donald Trump is reportedly ‘doing well’ in his recovery. As our party’s nominee, President Trump will continue to share his vision to Make America Great Again.”<\/p>\n Following the incident, Pennsylvania State Police Lt. Col.
