Zac Efron has broken his silence after he was reportedly dragged out of the pool by two people while in Ibiza<\/h2>\n

Zac Efron has broken his silence after he had to be taken to hospital following a pool incident in Ibiza.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over the weekend, reports emerged that the\u00a0Hollywood actor was dragged out of a swimming pool<\/a>\u00a0by staff at the villa he was staying in on the Spanish island.<\/p>\n

According to reports, the 36-year-old was in the water when, for a reason that has not been disclosed, he became distressed and had to be helped out of the water by two members of staff.<\/p>\n

Efron’s<\/a>\u00a0representatives\u00a0confirmed<\/a>\u00a0to TMZ that he was involved in a what they described as a ‘minor swimming incident’ and was later taken to\u00a0hospital<\/a>\u00a0as ‘a precautionary measure’.<\/p>\n

The ordeal has scared many fans online, including one who took to\u00a0Twitter<\/a>\u00a0to share her thoughts.<\/p>\n

They posted: “So ZacEefron was hospitalized because he was found in a pool by two people but entertainment tonight said that it was ‘minor’\u2026 doesn\u2019t sound minor to me.”<\/p>\n

Well, according to Efron himself, it was and he has given an update on the situation.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0High School Musical\u00a0<\/em>star took to\u00a0Instagram<\/a>\u00a0to share his recovery with his adoring fans.<\/p>\n

He posted a picture on his Story of himself in nothing but swimming trunks, working out with two large dumbbells while lay on an exercise ball.<\/p>\n

The actor captioned it with: “Happy and healthy – thanks for the well wishes.”<\/p>\n

Efron has been traveling round different parts of Europe in recent weeks and attended ‘Prelude To The\u00a0Olympics<\/a>‘ at Fondation Louis Vuitton on July 25 in Paris,\u00a0France<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As part of his vacation, the star has been spotted living it large on the Spanish party island.<\/p>\n

While there he even joined close pal Martin Garrix on stage during his\u00a0DJ set<\/a>\u00a0at Ushua\u00efa in scenes that could have been taken straight out of his 2015 movie\u00a0We Are Your Friends.<\/em><\/p>\n

It is not the first time Efron has been hospitalized – back in 2013\u00a0he ‘nearly died’<\/a>\u00a0after an accident that saw him suffer a broken jaw.<\/p>\n

Efron was believed to have been running through his home in a pair of socks when he slipped and smacked his face on a granite fountain.<\/p>\n
