Sarandon<\/a>\u2019s film\u00a0career<\/a>\u00a0began in\u00a01970, with her starring role in\u00a0Joe<\/i>, a\u00a0dramatic feature film. She then jumped to\u00a0the small screen with the soap opera,\u00a0A\u00a0World Apart<\/i>, and by\u00a01975, the year she turned\u00a029, she was launched to\u00a0fame after appearing in\u00a0the\u00a0Rocky Horror Picture Show.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
