Eminem revealed he’s about to become a grandad in his music video for latest release ‘Temporary’<\/h2>\n

Eminem has revealed daughter Hailie Jade is expecting a baby which means he’ll become a grandad.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In May,\u00a0Eminem\u00a0<\/a>– real name Marshall Bruce Mathers II – began releasing singles from his latest album\u00a0The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Gr\u00e2ce)\u00a0<\/em>from ‘Houdini’ to ‘Tobey’. However, the latest and third\u00a0music<\/a> video release for ‘Temporary’ has taken fans by surprise – and for more than one reason.<\/p>\n

The video saw fans first start\u00a0reaching for their tissues<\/a>\u00a0as soon as they clocked the song was dedicated to Eminem’s daughter\u00a0Hailie Jade<\/a>\u00a0as a song for her to listen to when he dies.<\/p>\n

Eminem opens ‘Temporary’ by saying: “A lot of people ask me, am I afraid of death?<\/p>\n

“The truth is, I think what scares me the most is not being able to say all the things I wanna say to you when I’m no longer here.<\/p>\n

“So, this song is for Hailie, for when that day comes.”<\/p>\n

The\u00a0song<\/a>\u00a0sees the Real Slim Shady comforting his\u00a0daughter<\/a>\u00a0about his future passing and also features audio of him and Hailie from when she was a toddler.<\/p>\n

And that’s not all.<\/p>\n

Oh no, as if the song isn’t tear-jerking enough already, Eminem used the music video to reveal Hailie is pregnant and he is set to become a grandfather.<\/p>\n

Hailie married husband Evan McClintock in May earlier this year – footage from the ceremony included in Eminem’s ‘Temporary’ music video.<\/p>\n

The video then moves onto a clip of Hailie coming outdoors to join her dad carrying a blue jersey, sitting down on the stairs alongside Eminem, handing the top over to him.<\/p>\n

Eminem unravels the sports jersey to reveal it says: “GRANDPA 1.”<\/p>\n

Another clip goes on to show Hailie handing Eminem a photograph of an ultrasound scan.<\/p>\n

Add in further footage of Hailie as a baby, alongside her and Eminem dancing at her wedding and it’s impossible not to leak a tear or two.<\/p>\n

Hailie even admitted herself she can’t help but\u00a0‘audibly sob’<\/a>\u00a0when she hears ‘Temporary’ but also another song on her dad’s latest album ‘Somebody Save Me’.<\/p>\n

Oh and ‘Mockingbird,’ Hailie saying on her\u00a0podcast<\/a>: “I can\u2019t even listen to it anymore without crying. The older I get, the less I can listen to any of the songs.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
