Warning: This article contains discussion of sexual assault which some readers may find distressing<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n It’s been five weeks since Diddy was arrested in New York, and since then a media frenzy has ensued.<\/strong><\/p>\n At the center of the storm is Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who awaits his trial due to take place May 5 next year after he was\u00a0indicted by a grand jury<\/a>\u00a0following his arrest\u00a0at the Park Hyatt hotel<\/a>\u00a0in Manhattan on September 16.<\/p>\n He has been charged\u00a0with racketeering and sex trafficking<\/a> by force, fraud or coercion – charges of which he has pleaded not guilty.<\/p>\n His attorney Marc Agnifilo remains adamant that the decision to arrest and charge Combs is ‘unjust’, his client is ‘not a criminal’ and ‘looks forward to clearing his name in court<\/a>‘.<\/p>\n But his seven children have become somewhat collateral damage to their father’s alleged actions.<\/p>\n Now, his adoptive son Quincy Brown – shared with late mom Kim Porter, who died in 2018 – has defended his father and called out ‘false narratives’ in the media.<\/p>\n Taking to\u00a0Instagram<\/a>, his son wrote: “The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations,\u00a0conspiracy theories<\/a>, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media.<\/p>\n “We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD.”<\/p>\n
