Melania Trump has made it her life\u2019s calling to protect and support her son, Barron.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last fall, Barron left Palm Beach, Florida, and moved back to New York City, where he now attends Stern Business School at New York University. Donald Trump has previously stated that they chose between several schools for Barron, though a new rumor is spreading online suggesting he wasn\u2019t even accepted at one of them.<\/p>\n

In light of that, Melania Trump has decided to put an end to speculation.<\/p>\n

After years of living at the White House \u2013 and later in Palm Beach, Florida \u2013\u00a0Barron<\/a>\u00a0Trump is back in his home city of New York. Last fall, the 18-year-old son of\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>\u00a0enrolled at Stern Business School at New York University (NYU).<\/p>\n

Speaking with The Daily Mail last year, Donald explained that his son considered following in his footsteps by attending the University of Pennsylvania\u2019s Wharton School. Ultimately, however, he chose to pursue further education in New York City.<\/p>\n

Stern Business School is considered one of America\u2019s best business schools. Only 1 in 20 applicants make it into the undergraduate program.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a very high-quality place. He liked it. He liked the school,\u201d Donald said. \u201cWe liked NYU. I\u2019ve known NYU for a long time, but it\u2019s one of the highest-rated schools.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI went to Wharton, and that was certainly one that we were considering. We didn\u2019t do that,\u201d Trump continued. \u201cWe went for Stern. He\u2019s a very high-aptitude child, but he\u2019s no longer a child. He\u2019s just passed into something beyond childhood, he\u2019s doing great.\u201d<\/p>\n

Barron Trump<\/h2>\n

As with his high school life in Palm Beach, Florida, little is known about Barron\u2019s school performance and social life. In December, his mother,\u00a0Melania<\/a>\u00a0gave some insight into what Barron\u2019s college experience is like. According to her, he won\u2019t be able to enjoy college life like his peers, simply because of who he is.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think it\u2019s possible for him to be a normal student. His experience at college \u2014 it\u2019s very different than any other kid,\u201d the First Lady told Fox, adding that her son is a \u201cvery strong and he knows that he\u2019s in a different position than other children.\u201d<\/p>\n

Being the son of the President of the United States, as well as a real estate mogul and television star, presents a tricky situation for Barron. The Secret Service follows him around campus and drives him to and from school, which would naturally be intimidating for anyone wanting to interact with him.<\/p>\n

As Melania stated, Barron can\u2019t really have a \u201cnormal\u201d college experience, though one thing that college can give any student is friends for life. Exactly who Barron is hanging out with is currently not known.<\/p>\n

However, according to\u00a0TMZ<\/a>, he is attempting to make friends in a rather unconventional manner. The news outlet states that Barron has turned to online gaming, inviting classmates to play with him in the virtual world.<\/p>\n

TMZ reported that Barron invited them to join him on the popular gaming platform Discord, where users play games and chat with each other. Since he\u2019s a big soccer fan, he plays the popular video game EA Sports FC 25.<\/p>\n

Was Barron Trump rejected by Harvard?<\/h2>\n

Meanwhile,\u00a0a\u00a0People Magazine<\/a>\u00a0source has claimed he is well-liked among the girls.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s at Stern, so he\u2019s studying business in some way,\u201d they told People. \u201cHe\u2019s a ladies man for sure, he\u2019s really popular with the ladies, he\u2019s tall and handsome. A lot of people seem to think he\u2019s pretty attractive \u2014 yes, even liberal people like him.\u201d<\/p>\n

As mentioned, not much is known about Barron\u2019s life or academic performance at school. Even so, the fact that he applied to some of the best schools in the US tells us something about his performance in high school. That said, not long ago, a rumor spread claiming that the idea Barron could choose any school he wanted wasn\u2019t true.<\/p>\n

Nicki Swift<\/a>\u00a0cited online rumors that stated Barron was rejected by three major schools: Harvard, Columbia, and Stanford. A\u00a0Facebook user<\/a>\u00a0sparked the rumors, writing: \u201cGuess what colleges didn\u2019t accept Barron Trump? Harvard. Stanford. Columbia. Any college Trump is attacking \u2014 are the ones that with all of his money they said \u2018no endowment will let him in.\u201d<\/p>\n

The popular fact-checking outlet Snopes investigated the claims made about Barron being rejected from Harvard, Columbia, and Stanford. They, however, couldn\u2019t verify it, stating that \u201cthere is no evidence that these universities rejected Barron Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n

Melania Trump shuts down rumors about Barron being rejected by Harvard<\/h2>\n

While the rumors have not been confirmed or denied, Melania has now decided to put the matter to rest once and for all. Through her spokesperson, the First Lady of the United States said the rumors are \u201ccompletely false.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBarron did not apply to Harvard and any assertion that he, or that anyone on his behalf, applied is completely false,\u201d Nick Clemens, spokesperson for the Office of the First Lady, told\u00a0Snopes<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, Harvard is one of many universities targeted by Donald Trump, who claims they haven\u2019t done enough to protect Jewish students.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s also claimed that Harvard is anti-Semitic following the massive protests for the Israel-Hamas war that broke out on campus, while asserting that the Ivy League school brings in too many international students. The battle has escalated, and several lawsuits have been filed.<\/p>\n
