Donald Trump has been causing a stir over his latest comments on Iran<\/h2>\n

Donald Trump’s latest posts on Truth Social over Iran have sparked fury as the situation deteriorates in the region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0social media<\/a>\u00a0activity has seen him face quite a lot of backlash, as people have accused him of \u2018war-mongering\u2019 given he issues threats to\u00a0Iran<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Israel<\/a>\u00a0has been conducting strikes in Tehran since June 13, which so far has gone on without\u00a0US<\/a>\u00a0involvement. In retaliation, Iran has fired back its own missiles, with some even getting through the country\u2019s\u00a0Iron Dome defenses in Tel Aviv<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Trump has repeatedly spoken on his social media platform Truth Social about Iran, which he says must come to make a new nuclear deal now, or face more strikes and further death.<\/p>\n

The POTUS has been calling on the country to sign a nuclear deal with the group of world powers known as the P5+1 – which includes the US,\u00a0UK<\/a>,\u00a0Germany<\/a>,\u00a0France<\/a>,\u00a0China<\/a>, and\u00a0Russia<\/a>, who’ve all been in negotiation with Iran in regards to its nuclear program since 2006.<\/p>\n

And now, Trump\u2019s latest post on Tuesday (June 17) evening on the developing conflict has sparked both outrage and concern.<\/p>\n

He wrote: \u201cWe now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran. Iran had good sky trackers and other defensive equipment, and plenty of it, but it doesn\u2019t compare to American made, conceived, and manufactured \u2018stuff.\u2019 Nobody does it better than the good ol\u2019 USA.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a follow up post, he added: \u201cWe know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don\u2019t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!\u201d<\/p>\n

In another he simply added: \u201cUnconditional surrender.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, on\u00a0Twitter<\/a>, these comments likely haven\u2019t had the positive support Trump was hoping for.<\/p>\n

One user said: \u201cWhy don\u2019t you bring our military home and fix America like you promised. So disappointed I voted for you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another added: \u201cYou guys are f****** clowns!!! Stop the war-mongering bs!!\u201d<\/p>\n

A third added: \u201cThe President is impairing the dignity of his presidency as well as the national honor by this kind of rhetoric, in my view.\u201d<\/p>\n

With another commenting: \u201cWe voted for peace, we got a warlord, Thanks Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n
