Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wanted to live a more private life with their children after leaving the Royal Family behind in 2020. As of today, we know that didn\u2019t happen, although the couple was previously quite strict with posting any pictures of their kids, Archie and Lilibet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

However, now Megan has begun posting photos and videos of them online. One expert now brands Meghan a \u2018hypocrite\u2019 for doing it.<\/p>\n

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left royal life behind in 2020. Less than two years after the couple married in a huge royal wedding, they decided that enough was enough and went on what they called the \u201cfreedom flight\u201d from the UK, first to Canada and later to settle in Monteico, California.<\/p>\n

But while they perhaps wanted life to be more quiet and less in public, that was not what happened. Following their bombshell Oprah interview,\u00a0Harry\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0book, and several other interviews and projects, Harry and\u00a0Meghan<\/a>\u00a0have become somewhat synonymous with newspaper articles and opinions about how they are approaching their fame and family life. One sure thing is that it\u2019s not entirely\u00a0private<\/em>.<\/p>\n

While Harry and Meghan have been seen engaging in various projects and giving interviews, one thing has remained the same. The couple decided for many years not to show their children in pictures and videos, and\u00a0Lilibet<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Archie<\/a>\u00a0were, in fact, only seen in the\u00a0Harry & Meghan<\/em>\u00a0Netflix documentary. But in the last year, something has happened.<\/p>\n

The two youngsters, Archie, aged six, and Lilibet, aged four, have appeared in more and more pictures that the couple has released, and their faces are featured. As recently as June 15, for Father\u2019s Day, Meghan Markle posted a video of Harry and their two children on\u00a0Instagram<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Additionally, through their Archwell Foundation, the Duke and Duchess have shared their vision for protecting children\u2019s online safety and preventing harm to children.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur kids are young, they are three and five, they\u2019re amazing, but all you want to do as parents is protect them,\u201d Meghan said. \u201cAnd so as we can see what\u2019s happening in the online space, we know that there\u2019s a lot of work to be done there and we\u2019re just happy to be a part of change for good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prince Harry continued by speaking of how, in the \u201colden days,\u201d parents at least knew what their kids were up to, compared to now.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt least they were safe, right?\u201d he said. \u201cAnd now, they could be in the next door room on a tablet or on a phone, and can be going down these rabbit holes. And before you know it, within 24 hours, they could be taking their life.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Harry and Meghan want to fight harm among children online, the fact that they are showing their children in pictures through their social media channels with millions of followers has had quite a backlash. Speaking with\u00a0The Sun<\/a>, Royal commentator and Editor-in-Chief of Majesty Magazine, Ingrid Seward, blasted Meghan and Harry for sending mixed messages about the privacy of family.<\/p>\n

Royal expert brands Sussexes \u2018hypocrites\u2019 for posting pictures of their children online<\/h2>\n

She said: \u201cI think the problem with the video that Megan\u2019s put out, which is actually charming, is it\u2019s really very hypocritical, because they begged for privacy. They refused to let their children\u2019s faces be seen. In fact, at the beginning, there was just like one or two photographs of their children\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey begged for privacy and now suddenly Meghan is flooding the marketplace with photographs of their children,\u201d Ingrid Seward added. \u201cEverything they do online is aimed at them being able to make more money \u2013 otherwise why on earth would they do it?.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Meghan has shared pictures of herself and her children before, the photo she posted of Harry with Archie and Lilibet on Father\u2019s Day marks a new turn. According to the expert, Harry might not be comfortable with it.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve spoken about social media and how damaging it can be, especially for young kids, and how worried they are about it,\u201d Seward continued. \u201cAnd then the next thing you know is Megan is posting quite personal, very charming pictures of her husband and the children all over everywhere, through her\u00a0Instagram\u00a0account. So, it just doesn\u2019t make sense.<\/p>\n

The expert concluded, \u201cI would love to know what Harry thought, but I suspect he might be a little uncomfortable because Harry isn\u2019t really a great self-promoter. Unlike his wife, who is. I think he would prefer to be a little more circumspect about who saw photographs of him and his family, but I can\u2019t imagine that Meghan would have done it without his knowledge.\u201d<\/p>\n
