Prince William has a non-existent relationship with his brother, Harry. The two have reportedly not spoken for years, and it is claimed that the future king and his brother\u2019s wife, Meghan Markle, \u2018s relationship is down the drain, too. Prince William has reportedly been questioning his brother\u2019s choice already when Harry and Meghan began dating. And now, a new shocking claim states that William knew that his brother\u2019s wife already had a plan to leave the Royal Family as she tied the knot.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As\u00a0Prince Harry<\/a>\u00a0began dating\u00a0Meghan Markle<\/a>, some members within the Royal Family didn\u2019t know if it was a good idea. While the so-called \u201cPro-Sussex\u201d biography\u00a0Finding Freedom<\/em>, by\u00a0authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, wrote that\u00a0William<\/a>\u00a0and Meghan got \u201calong so well\u201d after their first meeting, Meghan would no doubt want to know everything about her and her intentions.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was self-aware enough to understand that the brothers were wary of women who were more interested in their titles than their wellbeing,\u201d Scobie and Durand wrote. \u201cAnd she couldn\u2019t have come from a more different world than that of William, his wife, and most of their friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

A friend of Meghan\u2019s told the authors that she prepared herself for a grilling session with William. But their first meeting turned out great.<\/p>\n

According to the authors, William told Meghan, \u201cI was looking forward to meeting the girl who has put that silly grin on my brother\u2019s face.\u201d<\/p>\n

Even though William initially appeared to like Meghan, he was also concerned. Harry and Meghan\u2019s relationship moved exceptionally quickly after a friend set them up on a blind date\u2014and according to\u00a0Finding Freedom\u00a0<\/em>author Omid Scobie, the future king had troubles with it.<\/p>\n

Prince William told Harry to \u2018not rush relationship\u2019 with Meghan<\/h2>\n

About a year before their wedding\u2014and about a year after they began dating\u2014Prince William wanted to talk with his older brother about Meghan.<\/p>\n

William was said to have told his brother, \u201cDon\u2019t feel you need to rush this,\u201d and \u201cTake as much time as you need to get to know this girl.\u201d<\/p>\n

Scobie and Durand continued by saying that Harry was \u201cpissed off\u201d that William even asked him to take it slow, while the phrase \u201cthe girl\u201d bothered him. Later, Omid Scobie, who\u2019s been closely connected to the Sussexes for years, said William \u201cjust wanted to make sure that Harry wasn\u2019t blindsided by lust.\u201d<\/p>\n

William was also reported to have voiced concerns about how quickly his brother\u2019s relationship developed, though this was done privately to his aides.<\/p>\n

\u201cWilliam soon began to wonder about some of Meghan\u2019s traits and motivations,\u201d a source told the Daily Mail, as revealed by the\u00a0Express<\/a>. \u201cHe was worried that at times she seemed to be more concerned about her personal progression or profile over the wider goals and aims of the Royal Family.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, William decided to keep those feelings to himself. Why? Because he \u201cdesperately wanted her to be happy and appreciated the huge adjustment of entering the Royal Family,\u201d according to the source.<\/p>\n

Today, it\u2019s an entirely different story. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left royal life years ago, and Prince William appears not to have anything over for his brother or sister-in-law. But just as the \u201cpro-Sussex\u201d authors wrote in their book, now, another royal expert sensationally claims that Prince William knew Meghan Markle had other intentions than marry the person she loved.<\/p>\n

Royal biographer and commentator Phil Dampier told The Sun that William saw right through Meghan\u2019s alleged \u201cplan\u201d of marrying into the Royal Family. This comes after\u00a0Queen Elizabeth II\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0cousin and closest confidante, Lady Elizabeth Anson, reportedly told royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith that the monarch was concerned about Meghan marrying Harry.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think, unfortunately, that confirms what I\u2019ve been saying or thought for the last few years that, sadly, Meghan never really had any intention of staying in the royal family,\u201d Dampier\u00a0told the Sun<\/a>, in reference to Anson\u2019s claim. \u201cShe saw as a stepping stone getting married to Harry to new fame and fortune. And I think that\u2019s what initially Prince William was concerned about.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s why they fell out. And now we are where we are. But to have this confirmed by somebody so close to the queen is really dynamite,\u201d he added, claiming that the information he received had come \u201cright from the horse\u2019s mouth,\u201d and was \u201cvery, very telling.\u201d<\/p>\n
