Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have called time on their marriage, according to shock reports today.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The iconic celebrity couple, officially an item since almost 20 years ago, have reportedly been living apart \u201csince the beginning of the summer\u201d, though the announcement of their impending divorce has come as a surprise to their millions of fans.<\/p>\n

If\u00a0Radar Online<\/a>\u00a0are to be believed, Kidman herself was blindsided by the decision to end their romance, with singer-songwriter Urban said to have been the one who made the call.<\/p>\n

Actress Kidman is now rumored to be doing all she can to save their marriage, and has been taking care of the couple\u2019s two daughters, Sunday and Faith, \u201cholding the family together through this difficult time since Keith has been gone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, Urban has reportedly made up his mind, with an insider telling Radar\u00a0Online<\/a>: \u201cKeith has acquired his own residence in Nashville and has moved out of their family home.\u201d<\/p>\n

The outlet go on to suggest that there\u2019s been tension between Kidman and Urban since the death of the former\u2019s mother last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey do make a big effort to speak every day when they\u2019re apart, but it\u2019s quite shocking how much time they\u2019ve spent apart since Nic\u2019s mother died (last) September,\u201d the aforementioned insider explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like they both went their\u00a0separate ways\u00a0and now she\u2019s getting comfortable in a dream home in London on the other side of the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other sources have alleged that Urban has taken umbrage with the steamy sex scenes in a number of Kidman\u2019s recent film and TV productions.<\/p>\n

Indeed, back in July, during a radio interview with\u00a0Mix 102.3\u2019s Hayley & Max<\/a>\u00a0in the Morning, country music star Urban was asked: \u201cWhat does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like\u00a0Zac Efron\u00a0having these beautiful love scenes on TV?\u201d<\/p>\n

Urban refused to answer the question, while his team immediately \u201cdisconnected from Zoom\u201d.<\/p>\n

A source speculated following that interaction: \u201cKeith is clearly not happy about what Nicole is doing, and his very visible anger on that Zoom call has sent talk into overdrive that the couple is at a breaking point unless Nicole gives up sex scenes.<\/p>\n
