Melania Trump was honored by Fox with the \u201cPatriot of the Year\u201d Award last week. She attended the award ceremony in New York by herself, without Donald by her side. And according to a body language expert, it was a \u201cboost\u201d for her being solo.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On November 6, Fox hosted their yearly Patriot Gala. This year, the gala took place at The Tilles Center for the Performing Arts in Brookville, New York. Melania Trump received the \u201cPatriot of the Year\u201d award and held a seven-minute speech to the applauding crowd.<\/p>\n

The first lady gave a speech about the \u201cspirit of ambition.\u201d She invited Americans to \u201ccelebrate veryone who dares to think differently, for it is these courageous Americans who are the heartbeat of our civilization.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDaring to chase your dream is the American way. \u00a0Innovation isn\u2019t accidental here \u2013 it\u2019s in our DNA,\u201d Melania said. \u201cIn this country, innovation is a form of patriotism. But most innovators know it\u2019s lonely when you are close to the edge of imagination. When you have a deep belief in your own power to create new realities. This is exactly where real change begins.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Slovenian-born model continued, \u201cEvery breakthrough starts with one person daring to imagine what\u2019s never been done. Her friends call it unrealistic, her family declares it\u2019s \u2018far-fetched\u2019 \u2013 but the human spirit moves forward anyway, turning vision into reality. \u00a0One mind, one idea, one act of courage.\u201d<\/p>\n

Donald Trump stayed in Washington, DC, as he hosted leaders from Central Asian nations. Therefore, the first lady was in \u201cThe Big Apple\u201d by herself \u2013 but that wasn\u2019t a bad thing for her, according to a body language expert.<\/p>\n

Body language expert says Melania gets \u201cboost\u201d when appearing solo without Donald<\/h2>\n

Speaking with the\u00a0Daily Mail<\/a>, body language expert Judi James says being on her own was a \u201cboost\u201d for Melania Trump, and she addressed the audience \u201clike a star in her own right.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf Donald\u2019s absence from this event affected his wife\u2019s mood at all, it was to boost rather than decrease her levels of visual confidence,\u201d Judi James said<\/p>\n

\u201cMelania\u2019s formal portrait that she chose for this second term as FLOTUS showed her looking like a CEO of a large company with her power dressing; her splayed arms as she stood at the top of a boardroom table, and a very challenging stare to show that, this time around she means business.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued by explaining that there was \u201cno trace of any nervous flinch\u201d from the first lady. The body language expert says Melania \u201clooked like a woman who was suffering not the smallest trace of any Imposter Syndrome or sense of being Donald\u2019s \u2018Spare\u2019 as she accepted the prestigious award.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe right person in the right time\u201d<\/h2>\n

Judi James concluded that Melania communicated differently when her husband was absent. The expert explained that she speaks in a \u201cdifferent\u201d way, is more \u201cspontaneous,\u201d and delivers jokes.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe tends to stick to her script in a more formal style, but here she used her eyes for punctuation, and it was a much more entertaining and personality-based style than her earlier speeches in office,\u201d she concluded. \u201cShe looked very much like the right person in the right time at the right place and in the right spotlight at this prestigious event.\u201d<\/p>\n
