{"id":16965,"date":"2026-01-02T19:32:56","date_gmt":"2026-01-02T19:32:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/used82.com\/?p=16965"},"modified":"2026-01-02T19:32:56","modified_gmt":"2026-01-02T19:32:56","slug":"pawn-stars-rick-harrison-mourns-death-of-his-mom-18-months-after-losing-his-son","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/used82.com\/?p=16965","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Pawn Stars\u2019 Rick Harrison mourns death of his mom, 18 months after losing his son"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>\u201cPawn Stars\u201d fans around the world are rallying around Rick Harrison after the beloved reality TV icon was hit with yet another heartbreaking loss.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Just 18 months after his son Adam\u2019s tragic passing, Rick\u2019s mother, Joanne Harrison, has died at the age of 85.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-two-of-his-closest\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Two of his closest<\/h2>\n<p>Joanne passed away in a Las Vegas hospital on Wednesday, Rick\u2019s representative Laura Herlovich confirmed to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2025\/11\/06\/rick-harrison-pawn-stars-mom-joanne-dead\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">TMZ.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cRick is handling things privately,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The 60-year-old businessman and television star is now grieving the loss of both his mother and his son, two of the closest people in his life.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/celebrity\/pawn-stars-rick-harrison-grieving-sudden-death-of-son-adam-39\/\">Adam Harrison<\/a>, one of Rick\u2019s three sons, died on January 19, 2024, at just 39 years old. The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously. It seems it is just flowing over the borders and nothing is being done about it. We must do better.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the time, Rick also shared an emotional message on Instagram, writing:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou will always be in my heart! I love you Adam.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a candid interview on\u00a0<em>In Depth with Graham Bessinger<\/em>\u00a0this past March, Rick opened up about the pain of losing his son.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think about him every day,\u201d he said. \u201cIn his 20s, he had the drug problems, I mean, I put him in rehab so many times, and every time he\u2019d do great and then fall back; you\u2019ll hear the same story from a million people. It got really, really bad, and apparently it wasn\u2019t heroin, he got some fentanyl and it killed him.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-lost-his-father-in-2018\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lost his father in 2018<\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0<em>Pawn Stars<\/em>\u00a0fan favorite admitted that Adam\u2019s death changed the way he sees life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you lose a kid, you second-guess f\u2014ing everything. It\u2019s like, \u2018Could I have done this? Could I have done this?\u2019 It goes through your brain constantly. There\u2019s not a day that goes by I don\u2019t think about him. Could I have done something different? In 2018, his father, Richard \u201cOld Man\u201d Harrison, who appeared alongside him on\u00a0<em>Pawn Stars<\/em>, passed away after battling Parkinson\u2019s disease.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, Rick honored his father in a heartfelt Instagram post, writing:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe will be tremendously missed by our family, the team at Gold &amp; Silver Pawn, and his many fans the world over. He was my hero and I was fortunate to get a very cool \u2018Old Man\u2019 as my dad.
