He never looked up.\u201d<\/p>\n The former TV news anchor\u00a0continued<\/a>, \u201cI kept thinking, \u2018Maybe someday he\u2019ll acknowledge that I\u2019m a human being.\u2019 I worked there for two years and then I left to launch my career \u2013 and I left him in the dust.\u201d<\/p>\n Fortunately, this was not the last time that the pair ever saw each other, as they were finally reunited six years later.
