Britney Spears<\/a> has shared the “real” reason behind her divorce from her husband Sam Asghari.<\/a><\/p>\n

The news of the superstar couple’s split first started circling after TMZ<\/a> reported that the pair had decided to go their separate ways with Asghari, 29, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the main reason for ending the marriage.<\/p>\n

“It’s only a matter of time before Sam files for divorce,” a source told the outlet.<\/p>\n

Page Six<\/a> also shared other claims about the breakdown, alleging that the personal trainer is now looking to contest the original prenup agreed between them.<\/p>\n

Neal Hersh, Asghari\u2019s lawyer, apparently hinted that the personal trainer could be looking to contest their prenup as the court documents reportedly read: “[He] has yet to determine the full nature and extent of the separate property assets and obligations of each party.<\/p>\n

“There are various items of community and quasi-community assets and debts, the full nature and extent of which are unknown to [Sam] at this time,” the documents continued.<\/p>\n

Another source also told Page Six that the 29-year-old apparently wants to renegotiate in return for keeping the singer’s “secrets.”<\/p>\n

They said: “[He is] attempting to negotiate concessions beyond his prenup and threatening to go public with extraordinarily embarrassing information about Britney unless he gets paid.<\/p>\n

“So that\u2019s what Sam is focused on,” they added.<\/p>\n

However, a report published by Variety<\/a> stated that these allegations were false and Asghari has no “negative” intentions towards his ex-wife.<\/p>\n

His representative Brandon Cohen said: “There are many claims that Sam is challenging the prenup and threatening to exploit his ex-wife with videos. However, all these claims are false, as no negative intention has ever been directed towards her and never will be.<\/p>\n

“Sam has always and will always support her,” Cohen added.<\/p>\n
