A child getting separated from their parents might be one of the most traumatizing experiences one could have, especially if they were in an unfamiliar location or place. Younger children, in particular, might be very difficult to find when they\u2019re lost because of their small stature, and they might be taken advantage of by others too.<\/p>\n

In most cases, when a child gets lost in a crowded place, good-hearted people and strangers offer their best to help them when needed. In the case of a kid in a French Metro, upon immediately realizing he had lost his parents while riding the train, he panicked, cried\u00a0and screamed as people watched him in confusion.<\/p>\n

As he cried helplessly on the subway, inconsolable, a woman approached him, trying to calm him down. But as soon as he realized he had his phone in his pocket, he immediately dialed one of his parents to inform them about his whereabouts. He sought help from the people around him as the woman tried to calm him down even more.<\/p>\n

As\u00a0Indian Express<\/a>\u00a0suggested, the boy seemingly failed to deboard the train when his parents had already alighted, which was the reason for his frustrated scream at the video.<\/p>\n

A video of the entire encounter was posted on\u00a0Good News Correspondent<\/a>\u00a0on Instagram. The video has since received more than 200,000 likes and thousands of comments.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis young boy lost his parents on the metro, but this kind stranger stepped in to calm him down and offer help. Boy was able to make contact with his father and was reunited with him several minutes later,\u201d the caption read.<\/p>\n

People online were delighted to witness the encounter, despite it being a saddening one for the little boy. Many have praised the woman for helping the kid by calming him down on the\u00a0Good News Correspondent\u2019s comment section<\/a>\u00a0of the Instagram post.<\/p>\n

\u201cPoor kid. That is such a scary feeling. So nice that someone helped him,\u201d a user commented.\u00a0\u201cThankful for kind people helping that little boy!\u201d another posted.<\/p>\n

Many have also noted that if it weren\u2019t for the boy having a cell phone, he wouldn\u2019t have communicated with his parents in the first place.<\/p>\n

\u201cImagine a time where cell phones didn\u2019t exist? We often forget how fortunate we are to live in these times where we can contact anyone from anywhere in the world by dialing a number,\u201d someone shared.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cHappened to me at 7 years old and we didn\u2019t have cell phones.. needless to say I will never forget it! Luckily I was ok and my mom was able to get to me on the next train,\u201d one recalled.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

However, the woman\u2019s kindness and technology\u2019s advancement weren\u2019t the only things noticed in the clip. Two women were sitting facing the screaming child. However, throughout the video, the two women seemed to be unfazed, only looking at the child and not offering any help at all.<\/p>\n

\u201cSorry, I couldn\u2019t sit there like a zombie while a child is frantically crying. Show some emotion! I am glad someone cared,\u201d one user posted.\u00a0\u201cThose 2 women sitting there like nothings happened and then one puts her fingers in her ears when the poor kid is crying!! Have some compassion!\u201d another wrote.<\/p>\n
