Victoria Beckham and David Beckham have been internationally known for decades. The couple could not be any more recognizable or iconic. However, although they are both icons, they both have completely different career paths.
\nVictoria was born in April 1974 and was raised in Goffs Oak, Hertfordshire. She was the eldest of three siblings, and her parents provided a comfortable upbringing for the future mega star. Owning an electronics wholesale business, Victoria and her siblings had a fortunate childhood. Just six years after being born, she decided to pursue a career in music after seeing the film \u201cFame.\u201d Shortly after, her parents enrolled her in a school where she could continue to chase her dream of being a singer. Eventually, Victoria\u2019s dreams came true. In 1994 she joined the iconic all-female band \u201cThe Spice Girls.\u201d<\/p>\n

David Beckham did not get his start to fame by singing pop hits. He became a legend in a different arena and area of entertainment. David became a world-known soccer player. David was born in 1975 and spent his childhood growing up in London, England. With football being the number one sport in England, David\u2019s parents were avid fans. He started playing soccer at a young age and quickly excelled at the top of his game. In 1991 he got his big break. He signed with Manchester United as a trainee. David Beckham is now one of the most loved and most decorated players of all time.<\/p>\n

The Hollywood couple started dating in the 1990s and tied the knot in 1999. After being married for over two decades, Victoria shared how she has kept her happy marriage all of these years.<\/p>\n

David<\/a>\u00a0first saw his wife in one of her music videos, \u201cSay You\u2019ll Be There<\/a>.\u201d According to\u00a0The Sun<\/a>, David pointed to her and\u00a0said<\/a>, \u201cOh I like that one in the little black suit.\u201d<\/p>\n

When the couple married in\u00a01999<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Ireland<\/a>,\u00a0Mel B<\/a>, one of Victoria\u2019s bandmates, said the wedding was beautiful. She\u00a0said<\/a>, \u200b\u200b\u201cI remember looking at them and thinking these two would be unbreakable. It wasn\u2019t just that they were besotted with each other, it was the fact they could make each other laugh.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, tragedy struck for the A-list couple in 2004 when rumors spread about David\u2019s commitment to his very public marriage. According to\u00a0The Sun<\/a>, he was rumored to be cheating on his wife with his assistant. A few years later, in 2008, Victoria told Vogue that she never doubted her husband’s commitment to their marriage, as per\u00a0The Sun<\/a>. \u201cYou know, I love and trust my husband 100%,\u201d she\u00a0said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s my job to protect the family. We have a very nice, positive energy around us as a family and if it\u2019s not positive and nice, I don\u2019t want to know about it,\u201d the international pop star\u00a0said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Despite rumors and fame, the couple continued to stay together. David retired from soccer in 2013. The Beckhams now have four children.\u00a0Brooklyn Joseph<\/a>\u00a0was born in 1999,\u00a0Romeo James<\/a>\u00a0was born in 2002, Cruz David was born in 2005, and Harper Steven was born in 2011. Having been married for over 20 years, Victoria said that is thanks to respect and love in their marriage.<\/p>\n
