Due to the newly discovered health issue, Celine Dion will have to postpone all of her dates on her European tour next year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cHello, everyone. I\u2019m sorry it\u2019s taken me so long to reach out to you. I miss you all so much and I can\u2019t wait to be on stage talking to you in person,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0Dion said in the video.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cAs you know, I\u2019ve always been an open book and I wasn\u2019t ready to say anything before, but I\u2019m ready now. I\u2019ve been dealing with problems with my health for a long time and it\u2019s been really difficult for me to face these challenges and to talk about everything that I\u2019ve been going through.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-2\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>\u201cRecently, I\u2019ve been diagnosed with a very rare neurological disorder called the stiff-person syndrome, which affects something like one in a million people. While we\u2019re still learning about this rare condition, we now know this is what\u2019s been causing all of the spasms that I\u2019ve been having. Unfortunately, these spasms affect every aspect of my daily life, sometimes causing difficulties when I walk and not allowing me to use my vocal chords to sing the way I\u2019m used to.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stiff-person syndrome, or SPS, is a rare neurological disorder with some features of an autoimmune disease,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ninds.nih.gov\/health-information\/disorders\/stiff-person-syndrome\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">according to the National Institutes of Health<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe id=\"instagram-embed-0\" class=\"instagram-media instagram-media-rendered\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/Cl5xJY1AjAO\/embed\/?cr=1&amp;v=14&amp;wp=540&amp;rd=https%3A%2F%2Fdailypositiveinfo.com&amp;rp=%2Fceline-dion-health-problems-sps%2F#%7B%22ci%22%3A0%2C%22os%22%3A1095.3999999985099%2C%22ls%22%3A923.5%2C%22le%22%3A927%7D\" height=\"883\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-instgrm-payload-id=\"instagram-media-payload-0\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The singer had to postpone her tour dates due to health issues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cIt hurts me to tell you today that this means I won\u2019t be ready to restart my tour in Europe in February,\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>she said, while choking up.\u00a0<strong>\u201cI have a great team of doctors working alongside me to help me get better and my precious children, who are supporting me and giving me hope.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Celine reveals that getting better is a tough challenge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cI\u2019m working hard with my sports medicine therapist every day to build back my strength and my ability to perform again, but I have to admit it\u2019s been a struggle,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0she said.\u00a0<strong>\u201cAll I know is singing. It\u2019s what I\u2019ve done all my life and it\u2019s what I love to do the most.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cI miss you so much. I miss seeing all of you, being on the stage performing for you. I always give a hundred percent when I do my shows, but my condition is now allowing me to give you that right now,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0she continued.<\/p>\n<p>Dion ended her message with a note of optimism, expressing appreciation for her fans.<\/p>\n<p>By the end of the speech, Dion added a note of optimism, expressing deep appreciation for her fans:\u00a0<strong>\u201cI want to thank you so much for your encouraging wishes and love and support on my social media. Loud noises can also trigger spasms or falls, the institute said.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not clear what causes SPS, but\u00a0<strong>\u201cis often misdiagnosed as Parkinson\u2019s disease, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, psychosomatic illness, or anxiety and phobia,\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0NIH notes it.<\/p>\n<p>All the tour dates are rescheduled for the first the first 2 quarters in 2024.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We\u2019ll keep her in our prayers and hope she gets better as quickly as possible.
