The late actor was beloved by many throughout his career. Before his death in 2003, Ritter was best known for his roles on\u00a0Three\u2019s Company, Problem Child<\/em>, and\u00a08 Simple Rules<\/em>. He passed away very suddenly of aortic dissection (a tear in the aorta that grows) that was initially\u00a0mistaken for a heart attack<\/a>\u00a0just a few days before his 55th birthday.<\/p>\n

Ritter left behind a wife and two sons, Jason and Tyler Ritter. It\u2019s been about 20 years since his passing, and Jason and Tyler are now all grown up. They have families of their own\u2014and they happen to look just like their dad.<\/p>\n

Jason Ritter, now 43 years old, is married and has one daughter with his wife. He became an actor and has many credits in both film and television.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe main thing I continue to pass down, which was a huge thing from my dad and mom, is how they always made sure we knew we were loved,\u201d he told\u00a0ET Canada<\/a>\u00a0in 2020, adding that \u201cthe feeling of being loved, unconditionally, is so important.\u201d<\/p>\n
