Tatiana Doronina of Kyiv, 36, lives in L\u1d0f\u0274\u1d05\u1d0f\u0274, E\u0274\u0262\u029f\u1d00\u0274\u1d05, with her husband Ruslan Barabash of Kamenetsk-Podilsk, 44. Their toddler, David, will turn two in March 2023. The couple\u2019s second baby is due the same month. Tatiana said: \u201cThe \u026a\u0274\u1d1b\u0280\u026a\u0262\u1d1c\u1d07 is actually what kind of baby I will have . All our families are wondering \u2026 my friends, they\u2019re joking, \u2018Oh, maybe your second baby will look like the \u1d04\u1d1c\u0280\u0280\u1d07\u0274\u1d1b \u1d18\u0280\u026a\u1d0d\u1d07 \u1d0d\u026a\u0274\u026as\u1d1b\u1d07\u0280!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

David Alexander Barabash was born a week past his due date on March 1, 2021. Weighing 8 pounds (approx. 4kg), his size was not the only s\u1d1c\u0280\u1d18\u0280\u026as\u1d07. Brunettes Tatiana and Ruslan were instead \u1d00s\u1d1b\u1d0f\u1d1c\u0274\u1d05\u1d07\u1d05 by his full head of thick blond hair. Tatiana recalled asking her husband after David\u2019s \u0299\u026a\u0280\u1d1b\u029c: \u201cI was like, Do you have any blonds in your family? Because I don\u2019t! All the doctors were like: \u201cO\u029c \u1d0d\u028f \u0262\u1d0f\u1d05, what a baby! We\u2019ve never seen this kind of baby before. Even if babies are blond, they usually have thin hair.\u201d<\/p>\n

Within three months of David\u2019s \u0299\u026a\u0280\u1d1b\u029c, his photos were shared on Instagram. Tatiana was even interviewed by the media. At that time she had no idea that his pictures would spread so far and wide. However, David became famous not just in the U.K. but across the world and his story was been picked up by different media.<\/p>\n
Tatiana said: \u201cI was s\u1d1b\u0280\u1d07ss\u1d07\u1d05, I think I lost three or four kilos. There was a moment when I actually was a little bit s\u1d04\u1d00\u0280\u1d07\u1d05, because people were \u1d0f\u0299s\u1d07ss\u1d07\u1d05 with it. He was like a little superstar. I covered his hair so people wouldn\u2019t notice.\u201d Tatiana limited her photo uploads but soon grew fond of David\u2019s Instagram following and their sweet comments. She said: \u201cThe majority [of comments] were actually very cute \u2026 \u2018What a beautiful baby!\u2019 \u2018What hair!\u2019 \u2026 people started to put their babies in comparison with famous people. It was amazing, it was funny,\u201d<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cHis hair is such a beautiful colour though and he has such long eyelashes. I wish I had his hair, it is an amazing colour and so thick. I was 100 per cent sure he would be dark haired, I just can\u2019t believe my son is blond. I know his thick, long hair comes from me because my hair was long and thick as a baby too.\u201d Despite its length, Tatiana has no plans to cut it yet. She added: \u201cI am curious to see just how big it grows but it is already hard to manage. When I wash his hair I try to style it but once it is dry it just sticks up everywhere. For now I have kept his hair completely natural but I think it will need styling and I will blow dry it. I think he will need an extensive hair care regime.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tatiana has set up on Instagram for baby David but jokingly wrote \u2018not Boris Johnson\u2019s son\u2019 on his profile. She said: \u201cI don\u2019t mind the Boris comparison, I know people would think it even if we didn\u2019t realise ourselves. I just hope Boris doesn\u2019t mind.
