Salma Hayek is considered one of the most beautiful women on the planet, but just because she holds that title doesn\u2019t mean she is up for grabs.<\/p>\n

In 2017, the Latina actress detailed her awkward interaction with a now former president who used her boyfriend to ask her on a date.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s inviting me out, and I\u2019m like, \u2018What about my boyfriend? Am I crazy? Are you asking me out? You know I have a boyfriend,\u2019\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n

Several years prior to her\u00a02017 appearance on\u00a0The Daily Show with Trevor Noah<\/em><\/a>, Hayek claimed\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>\u00a0attempted to ask her out.<\/p>\n

At the time the details were limited, but during her appearance on the late-night show, she explained what happened.<\/p>\n

Hayek and her then-boyfriend were at an event when Trump approached and put his jacket over her shoulders because she was cold.<\/p>\n

\u201cI turn around and my boyfriend \u2014 so charming, so nice \u2014 he said hello [to Trump],\u201d she recalled. \u201c[Trump] said, \u2018I\u2019m sorry, your girlfriend, I saw she was cold.\u2019 And then he kept talking to my boyfriend.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before the night was over Trump had befriended Hayek\u2019s boyfriend and invited the couple to stay at his hotel in Atlantic City. He also left with both of their phone numbers, but only ever contacted Hayek.<\/p>\n

Even though she repeatedly told Trump she had a boyfriend, he continued to pursue her, telling her, \u201cHe\u2019s not good enough for you. Not important. He\u2019s not important, he\u2019s not big enough for you. You have to go out with me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although Noah joked \u201cTrump was right,\u201d \u2013 Hayek broke up with that boyfriend and married Fran\u00e7ois-Henri Pinault in 2009 \u2013 she shut the future president down.<\/p>\n

In the wake of Hayek\u2019s denial,\u00a0Trump reportedly planted a story<\/a>\u00a0about the actress in the National Enquirer.<\/p>\n

The story claimed the two didn\u2019t go on a date because Trump thought Hayek was \u201ctoo short.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the story was printed, Trump allegedly contacted Hayek once more to express his disbelief with the media.<\/p>\n

\u201cLater, he called and left me a message. \u2018Can you believe this? Who would say this? I don\u2019t want people to think this about you.\u2019\u201d He thought that I would try to go out with him so people wouldn\u2019t think that\u2019s why he wouldn\u2019t go out with me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wow. While it\u2019s good Salma Hayek stood her ground, it\u2019s horrible that Donald Trump continued to pursue her even when he knew she had a boyfriend.<\/strong><\/p>\n
