We\u2019re so used to seeing celebrities dressed to the nines, filtered and fixed to the high heavens, that it\u2019s never not interesting to see them stripped down to the barest necessities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here at Newsner, we\u2019ve covered all manner of A-listers who have, for one reason or another, embraced a \u2018no make-up\u2019 look at some point.\u00a0Jennifer Lopez<\/a>,\u00a0Jennifer Garner<\/a>,\u00a0Jennifer Anniston<\/a>\u2026 the list goes on, and it\u2019s not only those named Jennifer either.<\/p>\n

No, former\u00a0Baywatch\u00a0<\/em>star\u00a0Pamela Anderson<\/a>\u00a0turned plenty of heads last week when she turned up for the Isabel Marant Spring\/Summer 2024 womenswear fashion collection presentation as part of Paris fashion week.<\/p>\n

Now, when you imagine Pamela Anderson, you likely imagine her donning her iconic\u00a0Baywatch\u00a0<\/em>bikini, or perhaps in some other setting dressed glamorously and likely with a few hours\u2019 worth of hair and beauty professionals fawning over her to give the impression of perfection.<\/p>\n

Last week, though,\u00a0the 56-year-old opted for a far<\/a>\u00a0more natural look than usual, letting her long, blonde hair flow over her shoulders and smiling for cameras with no make-up on.<\/p>\n

The Canadian-born model certainly did enough to catch the eye of the internet. No sooner had pictures from the event surface than did people weigh-in on her fabulous, raw look.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow this is pamela anderson without makeup at 56 looking gorgeous for vivienne westwood,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>one Twitter\u00a0user wrote<\/a>\u00a0of Anderson\u2019s recent outings.<\/p>\n

\u201cpamela anderson going makeup free lately i\u2019m obsessed<\/em>,\u201d another\u00a0added<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A third\u00a0wrote<\/a>: \u201cPamela anderson attending paris fashion week shows and events makeup free is my motto<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

A fourth\u00a0surmised<\/a>:\u00a0\u201cI think Pamela Anderson looks great. We just aren\u2019t used to thin eyebrows anymore! A fuller eyebrow makes a huge difference, but she\u2019s still beautiful regardless.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Of course, this isn\u2019t the first time Anderson has elected to present herself in public without the glitz-and-glam veneer of one who has flawless paparrazzi photos in mind.<\/p>\n

In recent years, she\u00a0reportedly decided enough was enough<\/a>: she no longer wanted to hide behind a face full of makeup or cosmetic procedures.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t wait to see myself old.\u00a0I always said that I would recognize myself when she looked at me in the mirror.\u00a0I want my hair to be naturally gray, not to wear makeup.\u00a0I mean, that\u2019s my comfort state,\u201d Pamela\u00a0said<\/a>\u00a0in an interview earlier this year.<\/p>\n

While Anderson has been focused on a more minimalistic look, she\u2019s noticed others were \u201cdoing big makeup looks,\u201d but that doesn\u2019t matter to her.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s just like me to go against the grain and do the opposite of what everyone\u2019s doing,\u201d\u00a0she told Ellle.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI think we all start looking a little funny when we get older,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd I\u2019m kind of laughing at myself when I look at the mirror. I go, \u2018Wow, this is really\u2026what\u2019s happening to me?\u2019 It\u2019s a journey.\u201d<\/p>\n
