One of these lessons is being kind to people and never judging a book by its cover.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>And sometimes, these lessons go hand in hand. Unfortunately, this was not the experience of Andy Ross.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"newsner-362babaa3a434d38e642a76a90e59eb1\" class=\"newsner-362babaa3a434d38e642a76a90e59eb1 newsner-bluebillywig_instream\"><\/div>\n<p>Andy works as a construction worker in Vancouver, Washington and was on his way back home from work. That was until her mom pointed at him and said: \u201cThat is why you need to stay in school.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Needless to say, Andy was stunned at the comment. He was literally witnessing a mom giving her young daughter a lesson in\u00a0how<em>\u00a0not\u00a0<\/em>to treat others.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"><iframe id=\"instagram-embed-1\" class=\"instagram-media instagram-media-rendered\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CSvXj1cnWAg\/embed\/captioned\/?cr=1&amp;v=14&amp;wp=640&amp;rd=https%3A%2F%2Fen.newsner.com&amp;rp=%2Fnews%2Fmom-mocks-dirty-stranger-in-front-of-her-daughter-so-he-unveils-true-identity-on-social-media%2F%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0hi43P--c9AUJff1kZ31jYXs4QKzadn9NmN0tsyj7Ie31LfA7njmVgxsk#%7B%22ci%22%3A1%2C%22os%22%3A655.3999999985099%7D\" height=\"1024\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-instgrm-payload-id=\"instagram-media-payload-1\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<div id=\"newsner-1193664813\" class=\"newsner-article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<p>Andy explained a bit about himself and how after leaving the armed services he didn\u2019t feel comfortable taking a desk job. Instead, he opted to work outside, which obviously involves getting your hands dirty from time to time. He then left the pair with a resounding statement: \u201cHave a good day and try not to judge people before you know anything about them.\u201d He then wished the mother luck in raising her little girl.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/veteran\/\">veteran<\/a>\u00a0went home and made a post on Facebook. He revealed that he indeed stay in school too. He wrote, \u201cFirst, I happen to be a very educated dirty man. I not only have a high school diploma, I also have a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.newsner.com\/tag\/college\/\">college<\/a>\u00a0degree and many medical certifications.\u201d Going on to talk about his career as a special operations medic in the army.<\/p>\n<div id=\"newsner-f6538443a2b00a7bb436decea69b02a6\" class=\"newsner-f6538443a2b00a7bb436decea69b02a6 newsner-amp_article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<p>And on the bottom of which he wrote down eight lessons he felt everyone should know about.<\/p>\n<div id=\"newsner-1175111104\" class=\"newsner-article_inside_content\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cToday\u2019s lesson for the day:<br \/>\n1- Don\u2019t judge people at first glance.<br \/>\n2- Do what you love and enjoy and it\u2019s never work.<br \/>\n3- Blue collar jobs are the best jobs. They can pay great and it doesn\u2019t always come with a price tag.<br \/>\n4- Education is important, but college doesn\u2019t guarantee you anything.<br \/>\n5- Experience, hard work, and dedication allow you to be successful in your career path.<br \/>\n6- Don\u2019t be an a**hole parent who raises their kids to be an a**hole.<br \/>\n7- When attempting to insult someone\u2019s intelligence and education level, don\u2019t allow yourself to be out educated by said dirty man.<br \/>\n8- I need a shower,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"><iframe id=\"instagram-embed-2\" class=\"instagram-media instagram-media-rendered\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B7wUxPHJXos\/embed\/captioned\/?cr=1&amp;v=14&amp;wp=640&amp;rd=https%3A%2F%2Fen.newsner.com&amp;rp=%2Fnews%2Fmom-mocks-dirty-stranger-in-front-of-her-daughter-so-he-unveils-true-identity-on-social-media%2F%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0hi43P--c9AUJff1kZ31jYXs4QKzadn9NmN0tsyj7Ie31LfA7njmVgxsk#%7B%22ci%22%3A2%2C%22os%22%3A657.1999999992549%7D\" height=\"769\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-instgrm-payload-id=\"instagram-media-payload-2\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Andy made sure to impart this lesson to not just the mother he met, but also people raising children everywhere.
