Those who know\u00a0Helen Mirren<\/a>\u00a0know that she is a Jack of all trades \u2013 having acted, written, and modeled in her decades-long career in the spotlight.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In more recent years, the 78-year-old actress\u2019 modeling roles have only increased \u2013 and her appearance at this year\u2019s Paris Fashion Week was no different.<\/p>\n

Fans even took to social media to rave about how stunning she was, from the makeup she wore to her wild hair!<\/p>\n

Mirren \u2013 who was appointed Dame by Queen Elizabeth II in 2003 \u2013\u00a0is a highly decorated actor, having her breakthrough in 1980 when she starred in\u00a0The Long Good Friday<\/em>\u00a0with Bob Hoskins.<\/p>\n

Mirren then met Taylor Hackford several years later, the director of\u00a0White Nights<\/em>, a 1985 film she starred alongside Mikhail Baryshnikov, Gregory Hines, and Isabella Rossellini. The couple have been together since 1997.<\/p>\n

Helen Mirren speaks about ageing<\/h2>\n

Aging almost 60 years since she started acting, Mirren has consistently spoken out on ageist beauty standards and was not particularly impressed when Esquire named her the \u201cSexiest Woman Alive.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t like the word sexual. There are people who are sexual, and [others] who are less sexual. But there\u2019s got to be another word. \u2018Sexual\u2019 is so limiting,\u201d\u00a0she said<\/a>. \u201cBeing powerful is so much more interesting than being beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mirren pulled off a powerful and interesting look in early June at the Ora! Film Festival in Italy, when she wore a bright pink maxi dress, with silver sequins, that\u2019s cinched at the waist. She paired the look with comfortable open-toed silver flats and used a matching pink hair band to pull her long silvery-white hair from her face.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re not supposed to have longer hair after a certain age,\u201d said Mirren, who spoke about her roles in\u00a0Shazam!<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a01923<\/em>\u00a0on the British breakfast TV show,\u00a0Lorraine<\/a>.<\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cBut during Covid, I started growing my hair and I hadn\u2019t actually had long hair since I was in my 20s. And it sort of grew and grew and grew, and I couldn\u2019t be bothered to cut it, basically. I thought, do you know what, it\u2019s pretty cool, I think I\u2019ll stick with it for a little while. It will come off eventually. But I\u2019m kind of enjoying it, it\u2019s quite radical.\u201d<\/p>\n

Helen Mirren walks the Paris runway<\/h2>\n

Now, Mirren has earned the praise of fans after taking to L\u2019Or\u00e9al\u2019s spring\/summer 2024 runway during this month\u2019s Paris Fashion Week.<\/p>\n

For her outfit, she showed off a wild, crimped hairstyle and a silver sequined gown with dramatically long sleeves. Her hair was blown out into a large pouf and she glowed as she strutted down the catwalk.<\/p>\n

Fans of the actress took to social media to praise her look, calling her \u201cstunning\u201d and \u201cbeautiful\u201d, with many commenting on how she remains stunning at every age. Others complimented Mirren on being a role model for older women, who often feel shunned by the fashion industry due to their age.<\/p>\n
