There has been a massive fallout for\u00a0<\/strong>Kylie Jenner<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0after she posted a message of support for\u00a0<\/strong>Israel<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Hamas militants\u00a0launched a deadly attack<\/a>\u00a0on its enemy over the weekend and hundreds of people have been killed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Fighters sprayed bullets on civilians and security officials after infiltrating parts of the country.<\/p>\n

\n

Israel’s\u00a0Iron Dome defence system<\/a>\u00a0has been working around the clock to shoot down any missile attacks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The country has since embarked on a series of airstrikes on Gaza in retaliation, which has injured thousands and killed hundreds.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

As the fighting broke out, Kylie Jenner\u00a0was one of many celebrities who voiced her support for Israel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She shared a post that was from the Instagram account @standwithus, which included the flag of Israel and the following caption: “Now and always, we stand with the people of Israel.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

However, the post on her Story didn’t last very long and was swiftly deleted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

“Too late we all saw that,” one person on X penned.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

While a second added: “Why did she think that was a good idea.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Meanwhile, another social media user hit out at Jenner for the lacklustre attempt at highlighting the issue.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

“Girl, if that\u2019s what you support. Then stand by it. Or was it just more performative activism? Don\u2019t double back now that you\u2019re getting backlash. Smh\u2026” they wrote.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Another had similar thoughts: “It’s very obvious she doesn’t even know what’s happening. She. Just wants to join the trend.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

A third added: “Only for clicks and not knowing history in celeb world.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

UNILAD has reached out to Jenner’s representatives for comment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Sadly for her, the reaction to her social media following has been fairly negative.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

According to\u00a0Social Blade<\/a>, she’s lost more than 230,000 followers on Instagram in the days since the post.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Don’t shed any tears for the mass abandonment as Kylie still boasts a very strong 399.8 million followers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s a drop in the ocean for her.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

It’s hard to say whether people have left her account due to her standing in solidarity with Israel or if it’s because she deleted the post.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Her last Instagram post has since been flooded with people saying ‘free Palestine’ while others calling on her to think twice before wading into a longstanding geopolitical issue.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
