In the article,\u00a0teachers talked about the most unhealthy school lunches they had witnessed from their students. Should all sweet desserts and sugars now be forbidden? Perhaps this is a case of a few bad apples ruining the entire bushel.\u00a0\u201cI work in a nursery and believe me, I have seen some terrible packed lunches in the past!\u201d one commenter said in response\u00a0to Laura Lee, proving that what\u2019s packed in lunches has been a problem. Expressing their shock that anyone could consider Laura\u2019s lunch unhealthy, he added, \u201cThis looks perfect to me!\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-16\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-11\"><\/div>\n<p>Of course, black and white rules are easiest to enforce. So, it\u2019s possible the school decided \u201cno cookies\u201d in response to \u201cterrible packed lunches\u201d they were seeing. We can only speculate. Regardless, viewers didn\u2019t see an issue with what Laura Lee packed for her son.\u00a0\u201cLooks like you took time and effort to his lunch \u2018fun\u2019 and appealing,\u201d wrote Susan McGowan. \u201cAbsolute rubbish that he wasn\u2019t allowed to get those small cookies. Schools have responded by encouraging\u00a0both kids and parents to choose\u00a0healthy lunches with more veggies and other nutritious options instead of the heavily sweetened treats children tend to prefer.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-16\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-6\"><\/div>\n<p>As a result, some schools have taken extra steps, monitoring the content of parent-packed lunches and prohibiting certain foods, which seems to be exactly what happened in Laura Lee\u2019s case. Isn\u2019t moderation the key? It seems a blanketed ban does leave\u00a0very\u00a0little grey area and is the course of action some have chosen to take in order to make enforcement easier.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-6\"><\/div>\n<p>Along those lines, an anonymous individual pointed out, \u201cI think parents often forget their child is not the only one in the school, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/taphaps.com\/phil-rolen-veteran-dress-code\/\">rules<\/a>\u00a0are implemented to make everything work as well as possible.\u201d But, easier to enforce doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s always what\u2019s best.
