Though he first stayed silent after receiving the life-changing news, Fox has subsequently become the face of illness awareness in the decades afterward. Fans have witnessed directly how Parkinson\u2019s illness has affected the Back to the Future star, who has talked frequently about the hardships connected with the disease.<\/p>\n

In a fresh post, Fox underlined his optimism, saying that he does not dread death as a result of his health problems\u2026<\/p>\n

It should go without saying that Michael J. Fox has had a tumultuous existence, one with extreme highs and lows.<\/p>\n

After being diagnosed in the early 1990s, Fox went from being an actor at the zenith of his profession to having to deal with major health concerns for the remainder of his life.<\/p>\n

Despite delaying publicizing his illness for seven years, Fox has worked tirelessly to raise cash and awareness in the hope of eventually discovering a solution.<\/p>\n

His upbeat approach has been nothing short of amazing, but the actor has admitted that it is becoming more difficult as he ages.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not going to lie. It\u2019s becoming increasingly difficult. \u201cIt\u2019s getting tougher,\u201d the retired actor told CBS Sunday Morning anchor Jane Pauley in April.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery day is harder. But, but, that\u2019s just how it is. I mean, who do I talk to about that?\u201d<\/p>\n

In a more recent post, the legendary actor described himself as a \u201ctough son of a bitch\u201d and stated he isn\u2019t frightened of dying.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of these days, I\u2019ll run out of gas,\u201d Fox revealed to People.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of these days, I\u2019ll just say, \u2018It\u2019s not going to happen.’\u201d I\u2019m not going anywhere today.\u2019 If it happens, I\u2019ll give myself permission. My age is 62 years. It would certainly be premature if I died tomorrow, but it would not be unheard of. So, yeah, I\u2019m not afraid of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
