Reese Witherspoon’s son Deacon Phillippe recently gave a tour of his lush NYC apartment – and people have a lot to say.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Deacon is one of two kids\u00a0Reese<\/a>\u00a0shares with her ex husband and fellow actor,\u00a0Ryan Phillippe<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The exes also share Ava, 24, who has often been hailed as\u00a0her mom’s ‘twin’<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

While Ava is a model, Deacon is currently studying music at\u00a0New York<\/a>\u00a0University (NYU).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As he studies there, the 20-year-old resides in New York City and has a flat share in the West Village with friends.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

TikTok<\/a>\u00a0star Caleb Simpson recently ‘bumped into him’ in the street (or more likely set up a meeting with him), and asked to be shown around his home.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

He asked the budding musician what he pays for his apartment, and Deacon simply replied: “West Village prices, man.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He then proceeded to give Caleb a tour of his apartment, which boasts an impressive spiral staircase in the center of the room.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While it looks pretty cool, Deacon admitted that it’s ‘a little sketchy’ on late nights as you can easily hit your head on it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Then, in Deacon’s suspiciously tidy bedroom, he shows off his\u00a0music\u00a0<\/a>equipment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

After this, he bravely shows the bathroom and, despite a towel on the floor, it looks quite clean for an apartment full of boys.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

In light of Deacon having famous parents, people on TikTok have been quick to presume that his celebrity mom and dad pay for his rent.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

According to\u00a0Zumper<\/a>, as of this month, the the average rent for a three bedroom apartment in West Village is $6,995 a month.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Yikes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

“Lol crying about west village prices but both parents are famous actors,” said one person.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“The question should have been, how much do your famous parents pay for rent in NY,” added another.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

A third chimed in: “Rich kids \/ nepo babies LOVE to avoid mentioning their extremely wealthy parents.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
