\u201cThe View\u201d co-hosts Sara Haines and Sunny Hostin are skeptical of Travis Kelce\u2019s intentions with Taylor Swift.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome of the things he said raised some red flags for me,\u201d Hostin said of Kelce\u2019s recent interview with WSJ. Magazine on Tuesday\u2019s episode of the ABC talk show.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe said, \u2018The biggest thing to me: Make sure I don\u2019t say anything that would push Taylor away.\u2019 What is he hiding then?\u201d<\/p>\n

The attorney added, \u201cFor me, I want to know the good, the bad and the ugly up-front.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hostin, 55, explained that she believes that by censoring himself, Kelce is \u201csending in his representative so that he doesn\u2019t offend [Swift] in any way.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s not real life. Like, people offend you sometimes and they make you upset,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Haines, for her part, thought the biggest \u201cred flag\u201d was that Kelce\u00a0\u201cadmitted to thinking about retirement\u201d<\/a>\u00a0and said he \u201c\u2018thinks about it nonstop more than anyone could ever imagine.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is huge in the football world, and then you go to Taylor Swift land, and I think that if you were thinking about next chapters, this would be lovely,\u201d the \u201cChase\u201d host, 46, pointed out.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a very comfortable next chapter,\u201d Hostin agreed.<\/p>\n

Their co-host Joy Behar asked for clarification, wondering, \u201cWhat are you saying? He wants to retire to live off of her?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo,\u00a0he has millions<\/a>, but he\u2019s, like, on a podcast, he likes comedy. I think he\u2019s looking for a second act,\u201d Haines responded.<\/p>\n

Kelce found an unlikely person in his corner during the segment, though, when Behar backed him after previously\u00a0calling him an \u201cidiot\u201d<\/a>\u00a0for his \u201cdisparaging comments\u201d about women in old tweets.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was very sexist in his high school years,\u201d the comedian, 81, said before adding, \u201cBut I give him a little bit of credit because she\u2019s a major star and he seems to not be intimidated by that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said she \u201croots\u201d for Kelce, 34, and Swift, 33, because she wants the Grammy winner to be \u201chappy.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also credited the Kansas City Chiefs player for \u201cpursuing\u201d the pop star \u2014 which she said many male millennials no longer do.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like that intentionality,\u201d Griffin, 34, said before Hostin pushed back on \u201cwhy\u201d Kelce was seemingly so interested given that his ex\u00a0Kayla Nicole<\/a>\u00a0was \u201creally hot.\u201d<\/p>\n

Behar then chimed in, \u201cShe wasn\u2019t as famous as this one,\u201d referring to Swift, to which the panel appeared to agree.<\/p>\n

Kelce and Swift first\u00a0sparked dating rumors<\/a>\u00a0in September when the \u201cCruel Summer\u201d songstress\u00a0attended the tight end\u2019s football game<\/a>\u00a0alongside his mom, Donna Kelce.<\/p>\n

Travis shared in his WSJ. Magazine interview that\u00a0someone in Swift\u2019s inner circle let the \u201cLove Story\u201d singer know<\/a>\u00a0he was interested.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere were definitely people she knew that knew who I was, in her corner [who said]:\u00a0\u2018Yo! Did you know he was coming?\u2019\u00a0I had somebody playing Cupid,\u201d he told the publication Monday.<\/p>\n

\u201c[The Cupid] told me exactly what was going on and how I got lucky enough to get her to reach out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelce told the publication that Swift texted him first to kick off their relationship, but he had made his feelings about her known.<\/figcaption>

Like Swift, Travis has been supportive of his new lover. Last week, he\u00a0flew out to Argentina\u00a0<\/a>to\u00a0attend her Eras Tour concert<\/a>\u00a0in Buenos Aires alongside her dad, Scott Swift.<\/p>\n

The music icon\u2019s father appears to approve of his daughter\u2019s new beau, as he was seen aiming for a high-five when Taylor\u00a0changed her \u201cKarma\u201d lyric<\/a>\u00a0during the show to honor Travis.<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s\u00a0Thanksgiving plans are still up in the air<\/a>, but their parents are\u00a0expected to meet one another soon<\/a>.<\/p>\n
